Great room with view of Harbor. Staff was friendly and always looking to help. Clean with a very convenient location. Recommend highly.
It is a very clean and quaint hotel. It is right across the street from the inner harbor, so the view was amazing. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The only complaint was none of the vending machines were working (for snacks) but we got free water bottles. The shampoo/conditioner are in a dispenser on the shower wall so it kept popping off when elbows bumped it.
It was all good excellent except for misinformation from desk person who would not honor our parking coupon, told us our coupon for self parking had nothing to do w Sonesta, that it was between the garage and me. Unable to find anyone at garage to help, The coupon from Orbitz explicitly states the Sonesta will provide this discount! Went back to desk and asked a different desk person who took care of the matter and gave us our discount.
Had to cancel and rebook to get one extra day in which I was charged a higher rate for a Tuesday addition. Front desk rarely answered for valet service. Stains on comforter, no trash bags, one set of towels, you could hear everyone’s conversations including cleaning staff arguing, and only 5 tissues in the tissue box. Great location and valets were very nice. Not a four star hotel.
Room smelled like smoke (non-smoking) hotel. Night concierge we raised the issue with treated us as though we were inconveniencing her with our complaint. Reluctantly gave us an adjacent room which of course smelled like smoke. On second try we got a comparable room on the 8th floor. Found a spider on the wall and left for the Hyatt Regency next door.

The biggest issue was that the WiFi was virtually useless. Unacceptable for business travelers to not have high speed internet or functional WiFi. Cleanliness was acceptable, but not stellar. Amenities were virtually nonexistent. Staff was amenable but not friendly. So many places where this property can upgrade to improve.

No room service, restaurant and bar closed, only one coffee in room for three days had to make numerous trips to front desk for coffee,creamer etc. they sold wine by the bottle for $20. At front desk but…they had no cork screw and made no attempt to locate one. Room was okay, would not stay there again because they didn’t seem to care about their guests.
Comfortable hotel located within walking distance to inner harbor and Camden yards. Also on the purple route for the free charm city circulator bus. Great little coffee shop on site and wonderful ramen shop next door.
