Haven Inn & Suites2.0 out of 5.0

I have stayed at the Haven Inn several times & it was a very enjoyable experience. The staff is courteous & very helpful, and the rooms are very cozy. The location is in close proximity to a variety of restaurants/fast food places & the hotel itself offers an array of snacks & drinks for you to purchase as well. They do breakfast every morning from 6:30-9:30 & the selection of channels for family/solo viewing is pretty decent if I might add. Definitely worth the stay for your money
Pros: The room looked like the picture. The room itself was clean (at least mine was...some of the other reviews don't say the same). Cons: There is no fitness facility. The "English Breakfast" was a bag of 2 and a half bagels, and a basket with some blueberry muffins in it. I decided to go somewhere to get a hot breakfast. The bathroom looks worn...the counter was worn. The paint above the shower was peeling. The door, the little thing that allows you to open in a few inches? Broken. The deadbolt? Would not work. The lobby is dirty looking, and at night, there are creepy people hanging around. On Friday and Saturday night, there were a lot of cars going in and out of the parking lot. It's hard to get in and out of the parking lot due to how close it is with the interstate, it's a "right in, right out" only. The stairwell had cigarette butts on the steps. Overall, the place just looks VERY amateur. The other hotels in the close area are much nicer. I have no plans to stay here again.
The rooms were filthy. Snack crumbs, and wrappers were left on the floor when we got there. The shower head made a loud screech when in use. Walls of the hotel are paper thin. My room had a pungent smell of mold throughout the room and my friends room smelled of mold in the bathroom. One of us found a bed bug bite after leaving the hotel. Our AirBnB cancelled on us last minute and this was the only hotel we could find on such short time. I don't recommend staying here unless you have to.
very cold hearted ppl at front desk, out of toilet paper, so the gave me a nasty dried up roll that was stained , refused to give my kids a danish because we was 3 mins late for breakfast. and allowed a party that got out of control at midnight waking my whole family up.
I was travelling to GA for a short business trip. I drove more than 2 hour reach this destination where that thing called "Haven Hotel" is. Believe me when my navigator said I arrived I could not see the place. I drove around another 30-40 minutes could not find it. The reason why they are behind a high way exit and they are not visible like many hotel in the area. I can say it was a horrible mistake I made by going to this place. When finally had a chance to enter inside it, it was stink and I could not brief. I could only spent one hour inside it. Secondly, Expedia charged me 72 for the night while the hotel had their own rate. My partner left her coat on bed went downstairs when she came back the coat was gone. She told me that was an expensive coat. We told them that the cost was missing however, we had to leave since we could not stay there any longer. We called the Hotel (SLUM) they said they did not see it. Apparently the hotel staff took it. We called so many times they continued to say they did not have it. I am writing this review to all people out there - DO NOT GO to this place EVER in life. I don't know why they called it hotel. THIS is a mass of mud.
The hotel was terrible, when we went in,the bed and the bathroom was dirty, and terrible. It's the worst one we ever went! The lady in the counter gave us the the number, and when we opened the room,we got surprised because another person was in it! So we wanted to refund it. When we went down she won't let us! Please don't go to this hotel!
I booked this online and because I was attending a conference nearby and all other hotels were booked, I took it. BIG mistake. This is beyond horrible and I have stayed in some horrible rooms...the smell is horrible...the only saving grace was that I only had to sleep there and they had DirectTV....this is a dump...it looks like the kind of place you see on the news where they rent by the hour or that someone was found dead or shot there. Can I give is ZERO stars?
This is the WORST place to stay in the world!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME...DO NOT EVEN GET OUT OF YOUR CAR....IF THERE ARE NO VACANCIES IN THE AREA, YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF SLEEPING IN YOUR CAR!! I am very serious people.... The place is disgusting! The BUSTED front door, the filthy carpet, the NASTY elevators, the inattentive and very Rude staff, the filthy, smoky, stinking, dark rooms, the torn bed linen, broken and rusty bathroom fixtures, freezer so filled with frozen ice you couldn't even FORCE a can of soda inside...The whole place is disgustingly rusty AND filthy!!!! Buyer PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!!! AND IF YOU PAY IN ADVANCE THERE IS NOOOOOOOOOOO REFUND! So don't waste your money, PLEASE!
First I paid for the room online. I got there and she said they gave my room away. Then I had to wait. Then she tried to make me pay for it again. Then the cable box was not working. The maintenance man came and had to keep coming back. He tells me we gone have to move you I told him she said there are no more rooms. He went and got his box and cord and put it on my TV. The entire building smelled like weed. My room was clean but never again. Apparently they allow big dogs because I kept hearing a dog bark.
I honestly don't know why this place is still open because it should be closed for good or for a remodel which this place definitely needs. This place stinks of smoke smell the moment you enter the building. The rooms are filthy, and worn down. I wanted to leave but we were only in town for two days. We were out the second day and came back to find our room untouched. They had not bothered to clean norreplace towels in our bathroom. It is just terrible. We travel alot and we've been to many hotels and this is the worst I have yet to seen. Please, I would rather sleep in my car than spend a night here. My only regret is not checking out the reviews before booking. I will not be making this mistake ever again, thanks to Jameson Inn.
