This hotel isn't near anything in particular, but it is quiet and in nice shape---a good, kid-friendly place to stay in Asheville while saving some money.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and situated in a good location. It was easy to get to the attractions I went to Asheville to see.

I liked the location near I40 and I26 with many places to to eat meals near by.

minimal but clean, stayed several times and wifi never works, near highway

We are a family of 4 and travel often. We booked this while in route to the Biltmore and couldn't be happier with the hotel and its location. Rooms super clean and Staff very friendly. It location was right off the interstate and right next to many local restaurants.

A good example of this chain which I generally like. The people at the desk were friendly and helpful. It is convenient both to the highway and to town, though you definitely have to drive to get to Asheville proper. The internet worked great--an important feature in my work. Restaurants and gas stations nearby. Quiet, comfortable room.

Friendly staff, clean and updated room. Good value for the money.

As always, I try to review based on the type of hotel that it is. Red Roof Inns are (or should be - didn't look) an economy class lodging. As such, I have adjusted my standards accordingly. This is a clean place, room was in decent shape. No fitness room, but I didn't count that against them, since I wouldn't expect one at a budget hotel. I got a special deal (a one-off through a 3rd party booking agent), but the rack rate was OK, given the generally expensive room rates in the Asheville/Hendersonville area. I one negative that I do have is that my room got a significant amount of highway noise from the nearby Interstate. And it wasn't just proximity to the highway - they are apparently near a fire station or EMS station, because I was hearing a lot of sirens. This was a tolerable to me, but I'm not as sensitive as many are to noise pollution.

I was just looking for an affordable place to stay one night in Asheville. The hotel was clean, nicely updated, and staff was friendly and helpful. Exactly what I was looking for.

Everything was good except the WiFi did not work well in my second floor room and the shower drain was not working properly.

The Hotel was clean and at a good location. Only hiccup is that they don't offer any breakfast like most hotels do. It is something to consider in future. Otherwise its a good hotel.

This was a nice, convenient place to stay with our pet. I'd recommend it for those who travel with your best friend.

This is our second time staying at this hotel. We like the traditional motel style because it's easier for us with our dog. They have a nice area to walk the dog with poopoo bags and garbage and a nice gazebo. My main complaint is that people don't pick up after their dog. That's not the hotel's fault since they really go out of their way to make the dog area easy to clean up after yourself. The rooms are recently renovated and clean. The location is about 10 minutes from downtown. You can walk to a few fast food restaurants and to a convenience store that has beer and wine. For the value and my needs I will continue to stay here whenever I'm in the area.

I stayed one night. It met my needs. It was clean, affordable and the staff were friendly.

The location is convenient, just a few miles from downtown. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms seem to have been recently remodeled. The room was clean, and the wood floors, office desk and chair, fridge, microwave, and in-room safe made it definitely a notch above similarly priced rooms in the area. No breakfast served, but you are literally steps from several places to eat (probably something far better than you would have had at a budget motel). The only complaint would be the noise from the interstate. If you can, ask for a room on the back side of the property. It should be a little quieter there.

One night sleepover only ! At hotel for only 12 hours.

At first it was difficult to find. The front desk claimed they'd upgraded us, but I couldn't figure out what that meant. The beds were very uncomfortable, thank God for aleve. The rooms are set up badly with the sinks in the room. There was no info in the room about places to dine and there was no phone book to refer to. On top of this, the air conditioner was not adequate for the room, which would have been OK if we could open a window, but we couldn't. It made sleeping comfortably very difficult.

It was great but the only problem was the stink bugs.

Perfect for a quick trip! Only used for sleeping, bed was comfy! Hotel staff incredibly friendly!

Stayed here for one night with my partner and baby and was pleasantly surprised by the comfort and cleanliness of the room. The bed and pillows were good quality, enough linens for 2 adults, and a clean bathroom with good shower pressure. The floors were laminate instead of carpet which I liked as hotel carpets can get scuzzy. The TV was a new flat screen and there were plenty of plugs to charge cell phones and computers. Probably wouldn't choose for a weekend getaway, but perfect for the tired traveler.
