We retired early and at 8:15pm a person was knocking at our door and would not stop. I finally got up and asked who it was and it was a female speaking Spanish. I said no habla and she said “water?”. I called the front desk desk to see if this was normal and was told no. This made me and my girlfriend feel that this may have been an attempt to break in to our room. We left a day early. I would not recommend this place and won’t be back.

During the trying times of the COVID-19. We got married and chose grand bohemian for our wedding night and we could not have asked for a better experience. The staff was incredible and the rooms are second to none in Asheville. If you’re looking for a facility that captures the essence of ashevllle and perfect location to downtown this is the space. Already planning our return.
The hotel is lovely...this was our second stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating. However, our room wasn't ready when we arrived (we were an hour early) and went out but never received the promised phone call that it was ready. We had room service twice but only received service for two even though ordering three entrees each time. In-room dining menu is limited (not a many basic choices). Our bathroom has small pieces of glass on the floor, as if the prior guest had broken a glass but the floor had not been vacuumed well enough. Housekeeping and the front desk were extremely accommodating as well as valet and bellmen! The rooms are very nicely appointed and quiet from other guests (hallway and adjoining rooms) but we heard road traffic (a lot of sirens) all night long. We will probably stay again!
It would be nice if there was a small refrigerator in the room

When we arrived our room was not available, we were asked to wait 15-20 minutes - I took over an hour. We were upgraded, but upgrade did not include bath foams or gels or anything other than basis amenities I would expect in any Hampton Inn level room. A bit disappointing to have to pay for stuff left out for the guests (bottled water, house wine, bubble bath etc)
close to the entrance of Biltmore in the heart of Biltmore, this elegant hotel is a real treat. Staff are extremely friendly, hotel is 4.5 star quality, great in hotel restaurant and really classic bar. enjoy

Very high quality property with great location right outside of the Biltmore.The property is impeccably decorated with beautiful furnishings, artwork and lodge theme decor. The Motor Court is convenient and classy. The restaurant and bar is top drawer in terms of food quality, however quite pricey and service is one notch below excellent.Overall however a wonderful place to stay. Highly recommended

I feel like there are two tiers of hotels in Asheville, very affordable (but not always so nice) and super nice (and really pricey). Grand Bohemian was one of the most affordable of the upper tier hotels and we were blown away. We stayed in the Manor across the street and absolutely loved our room which was incredibly comfortable and stylish. The free apples and hot chocolate were a major plus, and the location was great. Would definitely make a repeat trip
Great location to walk to near by boutique shops, great restaurants, or better yet, just stay right on the premises of The Grand Bohemian and enjoy all comforts, amenities, luxuries, and services.
I purchased a one night stay at this hotel. There were many $200 options but it was an anniversary night and I picked the $383 suite with jet tub. We got a room you would get at Holiday Inn. To top it off it was a disability room with bars and a locked door into another room. I paid with tax $411 for a normal room. Seriously? I will never use this site again. The hotel was beautiful and sorry that I didn't get what I was sold. I would have done fine with the $200 room rate if I just wanted a regular room.
