This hotel is a reclaimed Holiday Inn. I personally think it has not reached the Wyndham Garden level of style and acclaim, but is charging those rates. The hotel is under rennovations and being upgraded. My room specifically did not have a smoke detector installed and the bathroom needed work and the curtains were not hanging correctly. Its the little things that make a hotel excellent beyond average.

We chose this property because it is close to the airport and has a free shuttle, however the shuttle was full so we had to wait for him to return. We didn’t know that would take about an hour so after waiting for 45 minutes with 2 small children, we decided to take a taxi. The front desk people weren’t very friendly but they did their jobs. The breakfast people were very friendly and kept the food, which was decent, coming. Our room, while somewhat dated, was very clean and comfortable. Bottom line, it was fine for a night. Don’t rely on the shuttle. A taxi is $10 and is much faster.

Loved the complimentary shuttle from airport but the driver was rude. Room was nice, quiet. Looked to have a nice breakfast but I didn’t get to enjoy since our train was so early.

The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. The room itself was okay however several light bulbs were burnt including one over the mirror and one over the shower. Our linen was never changed over the 9 day stay and the room was never cleaned after removing the “Not Ready” sign on the door. We did leave the hotel and stayed at another lodge for two nights and upon return the toilet had mold growing in it. After leaving and returning for the day the room still had not been cleaned so I cleaned the toilet myself. We did ask for and received clean towels but that was by request. It would be nice to have some updated USB plugs In the rooms. The bathroom floor should be re-grouted also. For overall appearance the parking lot could be much cleaner and is need of sweeping and new lines to make better use of parking area. It is highly unlikely we would stay at this facility in the future.
