Our room was freezing. 64-66 degrees. We were only there to sleep a few hours here and there then back to the hospital where our son was, so we didn’t report the problem until the day before we checked out. Maintenance fixed it in 2 minutes - said if thermostat is set above 80 the heat won’t kick on. It was set at 83 when we checked in - so maybe the cleaning crew should check that after each check out to make sure it’s not set above 80 and freezing out the next guest?! Also, the side door has a sign saying keys won’t work after 9pm. Key didn’t work at 8:30. My husband has a bad knee and we try to park close to the door we’re going to use. Had the sign been accurate we would’ve parked nearer to the main entrance at that time to prevent him from walking so far across an icy parking lot

Friends and I booked this hotel to enjoy the hot tub and pool, but the hot tub was out of service for our entire stay. Staff said it'll be repaired and running again after our first night, but it never was. Swimming pool was pretty disgusting; it was starting to look brown like it wasn't cleaned in days, and there were hairs floating on the water. Also, there were kids running around everywhere from the hallway, next doors, to the room above. Banging/thudding noises coming from the ceiling...

Well above my expectations; great service, shuttle, pool, gym, breakfast and cleanliness. I will stay here again next time I’m in town.

When I checked into my hotel the woman at the counter was extremely helpful, courteous, professional and polite! The room was clean and access to the running trail out back was a delightful surprise. The food was great at the breakfast buffet and the maids did a wonderful job making my room clean and comfortable throughout my stay. I have already suggested this hotel to 2 colleagues and they have already booked their stays this month!

Don't like the bathroom doors. They don't provide much privacy.

Easy check in and check out great rooms very clean staff was excellent. Great view of university lake with a fire pit in the back awesome free breakfast very nice stay.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great location, fabulous staff, terrific food, and a reasonable price. My only complaint is that my stay was too short and I gained 2 lbs from eating the free breakfast. :o)

Got there 3 hours late; staff was helpful and courteous ! Room was great and lots of breakfast choices and all day coffee!

It was walking distance to the Great Alaska Shootout. The staff was helpful and friendly. The included breakfast was very good and offered many choices! The room layout was excellent.

This was from off-peak season...The staff are very accommodating. Contacted them and they set up my shuttle delivery and check in was a breeze. I wasn't staying a second night so I had to check out, but the staff allowed me to leave my bags behind the desk so I didn't need to bring them with me to an interview and they even let me use the shuttle service again. Fantastic people.

Very pleasant, quiet hotel. Very clean. Good value, loved the breakfast.

The staff was friendly and the room clean. I rated it lower than I probably would have because the place had construction going on and that made it less convenient.

The room was very clean and liked the lay out of the suite but breakfast was terrible

The room we had was very nice. The staff were helpful when asked something. Breakfast was good and they always kept things hot and full.

Very clean and modern. Easy access to park. Nice patio in back with big hit rock fire pit.

Updated hotel with amenities. Enjoyed having breakfast available for family. Location was within easy drive to downtown or outside of town. The only negative was construction in lot next door that was loud at times during the day.

We thought all Springhill Suites were created equally. We were wrong. Our first hotel room was dirty (smudges all over the mirrors, trash inside of the room heater, stains on couch) and in disrepair (broken room heater, crack through the shower floor). After our first night in the hotel and we had spread all our stuff out, we got a phone call message stating that the shower was leaking to the room below us and we needed to move. We had to move all of our stuff to the other end of the hallway. We were not offered any special discount or room upgrade. Just expected to move rooms. The new room was also dirty (smudges on mirrors, unknown brown smudges all over the shower walls). One day after we came home, the room service had left a bag of trash in the middle of the floor. The hallways smelled terrible. The breakfast was very mediocre. The staff were terrible with customer service.

The beds were comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was extensive. Check-in and check-out times were appropriate. Location is great for persons discharged from the hospital. The hotel provided a wheelchair for the surgery patient, but patient had to provide someone to bring it to the car and room. It would have been nice if they had someone to help with the wheelchair and the luggage. Also, we were put in a cluster of rooms where all four door opened next to and across from each other. It was very noisy until 2 AM with doors opening and shutting loudly, people running through the halls as well as talking. Not very conducive to sleep. The room heat had been set to 78 and it could not be lowered no matter what we tried. There should be an instruction sheet posted on how to adjust heat. 78 is too hot for sleeping.

Good hotel. Great Service. We were a group of 6 in the same room and we were comfortable. The room was clean and the breakfast was good.

Everything was just right. The biggest thing I noticed was how quite the rooms were. No noise from above or eather side. Will stay there again.
