The room we got was not what we were promised and the window opened to a camp ground.

Location is great! - close to the airport, easy ride downtown or to other side of town. Check in was easy, expeditious. Was charged (only) $5 on check-in for possible extra's because I was prepay- might have been $40 - might have been in the paperwork but not mentioned. Parking in front (limited)and more in back, so once settled back is better. Rooms in the back are probably a bit quieter. Room was clean, comfortable, lighting was a bit underwhelming. Coffee in the room (Kerig style) was undrinkable - AWFUL. Bed felt comfy on first entry; but too soft for a good night's sleep. Free breakfast was adequate (cereal, sweet rolls, pancakes (interesting machine), fruit, thin omeletes and very skinny sausages. First pass on the coffee was disappointing; second time (later) coffee was much better. Why? **left some meds in the room and hotel was slow to respond (24 hrs for first call back) slow to get in the mail (2 days later). Expected a quicker response; glad I developed an easy backup.

Very short stay that lasted only a few hours since we have to catch a Cruise ship. Would have prefered to stay much longer to enjoy the city much more.

Hotel was good Breakfast was good Staff was very pleasant

Overall , the stay was very enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was the pool being too cold to use (several other people had the same problem).

Great hotel, clean and friendly. Very close to airport with shuttle service. I won't stay anywhere else! Awesome free breakfast bar!

There was construction underway yet the stay was comfortable.

I always stay here on my visits to Anchorage. Clean, friendly staff, nice location next to airport. A little spendy but well worth it.

The rooms were clean & lots of room. Great location. Close to airport & major roads leading to the downtown area. Will def. stay again.

I visit Anchorage quite often and the Holiday Inn is for the money the best place to stay. The staff is very friendly, the room very clean and quite. Very relaxing place to stay.

Hotel staff were friendly. The kids had fun swimming in the pool. he free breakfast was hot and tasty.

The Holiday Inn Express near the airport in Anchorage was a great location to rest before a VERY long flight back to the lower 48. Super clean and quite to rest. Near many restaurants in walking distance to eat. I would stay there again if I am Anchorage again.

Great stay here. Beds very comfy, rooms and bathrooms clean, nice shower. Awesome friendly staff.

Hotel hasn't had the green sign put up which means they haven't had any upgrades in awhile Breakfast was horrible. Staff was nice and friendly thru out. I guess my priority club status meant nothing. No water or any welcome a being a priority club member.

We were very happy with our stay at the Anchorage Holiday Inn Express! My only complaint is the fitness room was like a sauna and needed a TV, but other than that we enjoyed the room cleanliness & comfort and the kids loved the pool.

The Hotel was pretty good overall. We were very disappointed with the WiFi there. Had mickey mouse log in to use each time you attempt to access it. Each time its a struggle to log in. Make it simple. That's all it takes. When I checked in, was told I would receive my Priority Club Points the following day as it was real late when I checked in. Upon going to front desk later in my stay, I was told I was not eligible because I made reservation through another entity. This is not acceptable!!

I Stay here frequently when traveling through ANC and to outlying remote Alaska for work related visits. It is everything I need. From the moment I arrive they suit my needs.....From the free airport shuttle service (my flight usually arrives very late, after 11pm) to the early morning Breakfast Bar, which is absolutely wonderful with plenty to choose from- and conveniently opens at 6:30am and closes at 10:30am which leaves plenty of time to sleep in! The rooms are beautifully decorated and clean. I truly recommend this hotel to anyone!

We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was more than adequate and offered a great variety of choices. The room was very clean and comfortable. We would stay definitely stay here again. The price was about what we expected to pay, especially during tourist season.

The Staff was friendly and exceptionally helpful. I actually overheard that they just remodeled and it really shows. The beds were comfortable, the chairs were beautiful. And I LOVE the complementary breakfast area. The food was good and the area was very nice - though could have used a bit of sound dampening :) Overall, a fabulous experience!

The room was clean and cozy. The breakfast was very good, my picky eater found something she liked every morning. It is close to the airport and close to really great places to eat.

Sorry to hear that you had challenges with your stay. We aren't anywhere near a camp ground. is it possible you have the wrong hotel?
