The price of the room was correct, the personnal from the hotel are helpfull. The breakfast is very big,you can eat what you want. The bed was very confortable, you will sleep well on it ! Enjoy your trip !
Staying here for a lil weekend to attend a festival. This place is unique and quirky. Exactly what it says on the tin....its Arty. Let's of artful decor and furniture. Get a junior suite if you can. They make good use of the space in the room with a long wide window bench which actually allows an extra two people to sleep on. However the beds here.....jeeee whizzzz.....i came with a party of 20 and let me tell you ....we all agree these are the best beds ever such an easy sleep. Staff here are so accommodating friendly and so pleasant. Favourite waiter was the young Tijn...very helpful and kind to us...thank you xx Lovely brasserie restaurant served big breakfast with either a build a breakfast option or for a bit more euros buffet breakfast. The location is a little bit in the middle of nowhere but you can get a bus to central near by. I think this is a place you stay for only a few days ...there is no major spectacle here so could become a little lethargic if you have nothing to do. Maybe consider a rooftop bar here like the sister hotel westcord fashion hotel 😊 Also ....noticeable dust in rooms so more attention needed when cleaning On a whole cute little place though. Thank you for your hospitality
My son booked this hotel for me to spend with his sister and me on my way to return home and the intention was to stay in Amsterdam to travel to Schiphol in the morning . I just returned from a trip in Italy. We stayed 2 nights. First we have to say that the room booked was for 4 and we got a corner room but unfortunately the room was hot. It seems later that the airconditioning was defect We went to the desk late in the night and ask assistance, because the room was pre- paidfoe and 200+ euros per night. The lady at the reception came to confirm and proposed a smaller room wirh 3 beds, untill she reports our situation in the morning with her manager. So we moved and were happy with the room we got. The rooms were neat and clean. In the morning they reimburse and offer also free parking, which we accepted. The hotel is very trendy. Has a parking lot and and is very safe. There is a busstop nearby to the center of Amsterdam and the hotel offers tickets for sale to have a nice trip in Amsterdam. The breakfast was included for the 3 of us and was amazing. All sorts of bread, fruits, yoghurt, delicacies, eggs, really really good. The service was very good. The hotel has a swiming pool but was one of the days closed due the weather. I got a lunch box due to my early flight and cofee. The reception clerk were very friendly and nice. All by all a very good hotel to stay 1 or more nights and will return.
My girlfriend and I spent two nights here. It's a little out of the centre, so if you choose to stay here, be prepared for a half hour walk into town or a short bus ride. Apart from that, I liked the general feel of the place, they have a passion for art, which is visible everywhere. The room was clean and a reasonable size. The breakfast was one of the best continental breakfasts I've had (there is a hot buffet too).
Great room with lots of character and pool view! Clean and comfortafle with all the necessary things - bathroom perfect, great big shower. Staff helpfull and kind :) Amazing art hanging everywere, loved it all!
i frequently travel to Amsterdam for business purposes and couldn't sleep elsewhere ! i like this hotel for many reasons, original rooms, perfect service, kind staff and marvelous breakfast. You couldn't find better with ratio comfort / price. Interesting location respect to downtown (bus line 22 at 200m away, roughly 10').
It is very modern & clean . Room is too small for family of 3.The extra bed ( Murphy) is broken . We informed reception, but they did nothing.Location is not so good , far from downtown. We didn't eat there due to reviews mention about mouses in restaurant. The swimming pool is not hotel 's swimming pool , you can swim for free , just go get voucher from front desk.
I was disappointed to see the room size. We reserved for a family room as we are 2 adults and 2 kids. I have been staying in so many hotels around the world and this one is the smallest family room I ever had. I don't even think it's fair to be called a family room. It's just a standard room with additional bed for the kids that took half of the space of the room. I felt cheated considering the price we paid. The positive side is the breakfast. We all liked the breakfast. Lots of variety and tasted nice. Staff were friendly.
Stayed in this hotel 2nd-5th June 2017. Really good hotel, clean, comfy beds, great shower, friendly helpful staff. Four friends together so we shared taxis instead of getting a bus. Around €14 to central station & €20 to rembrandt square where all the bars are. Would definitely return & recommended to others
Just the two of us. Short break. Found this hotel to be very good. Everything we could have asked for, and more. Staff were very good, couldn't fault anything about this hotel. Short walk to bus stop, bus passes available from reception 1 hour 12 hour 24 hour etc. Well worth a purchase as these also enable you to use trams once you are in centre. Can't comment on breakfast as we had room only, but had a few morning coffees out on the terrace, and 3 euros not bad price. Would definitely visit again. Enjoy🏩
