We stayed here for 3 nights during the last week of March. Lovely clean hotel with good sized rooms and friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very nice and plenty of choice. The hotel is situated a few minutes outside the centre of Amsterdam but there were regular buses until late. Nice quiet area. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
Our hotel room was beautiful, and our king sized bed was very comfortable and luxurious. The hotel itself I cannot fault! The location is a bit out of the way but the 22 bus to the city is quite frequent once you get the hang of it. I would definitely recommend getting a 2/3 day pass at the airport for the public transport, it was so handy to have. A taxi from central station ranged from 13-20 euro. I would recommend getting a taxi if you have suitcases and the like, but if not, bus is the way to go. It was also my birthday during the visit and the hotel surprised me with a bottle of wine and a card, which I thought was so nice! Overall it was a lovely stay, and we had a wonderful time exploring Amsterdam!
Our first trip to Amsterdam, we were given very clear instructions from the hotel on how to get to hotel from the airport via the excellent transport network, reception staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room was cosy and comfortable with all home comforts, shower room was spotless. City centre easy to reach via bus. Cannot comment on restaurant as didn't eat there. Would definitely return.
This is an ART hotel you are greeted outside by a Batman and Robin large cowes. We arrived by taxi from the Flixbus station. E10.0. You can take the bus E3.0 for day pass. The reception staff were ready for us and the room was available as we arrived. We had booked a Large room with two single beds. The room was very clean and well presented, shower and bath with a separate WC. Very comfortable beds coffee machine large sitting area, aspect overlooking the swimming pools. Lots and lots of art on the walls and and some permeant works of Art. All the staff are ver approachable and willing to help you. The breakfast was very good just a little busy but I guess that because of Easter. Bus stop into Town 3 mins walk buses every 10 Mins. You cannot use cash any more to buy bus tickets, so you ned a bank card. E3.0 for Day pass also available are 24Hour pass and a 2 day pass, the bus takes you directly into town 10Mins to the Main Station. Also please be aware that entry for museums need to be booked on line, so you need internet connection. Suggest you ask the Hotel to help, due to the numbers the tickets are on a visit time basis.
The hotel is great, the staff in the hotel are friendly and the rooms are excellent. Good value for Amsterdam (which you expect to be expensive). The only thing that let the whole stay down was the time it took to eat in the restaurant. 3 hours to eat 3 courses (soup, steak and apple pie) is just too long. It wasn't even that busy. When we went to order drinks it took 30 minutes for one round to arrive (there were 2 of us). That said the food was excellent and it shouldn't detract from what was otherwise an excellent stay.
It was a wonderful nice hotel.Staff friendly, hospitable. The rooms are large enough The breakfast was excellent. 5-6 minutes by car-bus from city center. Very safe, rooms very clean. İt was a great hotel
In 25 years of travelling, in a group of 6, we have never experienced the friendliness or excellent service received at the Art Hotel Amsterdam! We cannot recommend it highly enough, the staff are what make it the No.1 hotel that we have ever stayed in. Not to mention the lovely rooms, food and excellent service (did I mention the excellent service already?! 😁) Stay here because it's more than worth it 😊😊😊 Higher stars than any other hotel 6******
Stayed at Westcord Art Hotel from the 13/3 to the 16/3 and i genuinely could not recommend this hotel enough. Staff are so friendly and welcoming and could not do enough for you. The room was cleaned immaculately every day, it was so warm and the bed was absolutely huge and very very comfortable. City center just 5 mins on a bus, cant pay on buses need to use cards which you can purchase at hotel reception. 25 euros for 2 days or 35 for 3. Coffee shop and supermarket withing walking distance of hotel. Overall, extremely pleased and will be returning.
We appreciated a lot our stay at this hotel, the room was very silent, clean and spacious ! Coffee making machine and tea available. The staff pleasant. The only problems we had occurred at the restaurant (a very slow service, just one waiter who had to run to all sides) and also to be forced to make a quite long walk till the bus stop as the road nearby is under maintenance
Would highly recommend this hotel.even though a little out of the way,it did nt take long on the bus,no 22 to dam square.but b warned,it was very cold in march.take ur thermels :) the hotel was spotless & very welcoming when you first enter.the staff were very friendly & a warm welcoming smile.answered any questions we had throughout our visit.great work.the rooms were emaculate :) cleaners standards 5 star.we had a breakfast & an evening meal at westcord & both were very gd.a lovely hotel for couples.very romantic at night :) keep up the excellent work
