Excellent location central to many stores and restaurants! Affordable stay!

I really like this hotel,it’s small tiny room, only has a bed and toilet with shower but clean,it’s okay for us, the bed is very comfortable, the staffs are very friendly, also it’s in a great location. This’s very important. it’s just about 5 minutes walk from central station, you can find everything around here, shopping, restaurants, and joining the tours. In this busy street, you find 2 McDonald’s, KFC, they open very late. We couldn’t sleep midnight and were hungry, we came out to find something to eat, they were still open. It’s our first time Visiting Holland, we stayed for 2 days, I glad I chose this hotel. I will definitely return next time.

First time stay in the city. Very convenient location to everything. Decent room and quiet.

The hotel is centrally located and very original. The staff could wear a smile and have a little more enthusiasm to match the upbeat decor.

The hotel was in an excellent location, close to the central train station, an information and tour office, restaurants and within walking distance of many sight seeing facilities.

This hotel has a great location. Walking distance to Centraal station and right in the center of Amsterdam. This is not your typical hotel; the design of the rooms are very eclectic.

For a hotel in the middle of arguably the busiest part of Amsterdam The Exchange is an excellent value. If you're the type who needs a hotel on for a clean, safe place to sleep and to keep your things while you see the city then this is the place to be. My only complaint is that the ceiling was a bit low for my comfort. I'm 6'1 or 185cm and the ceiling was just tall enough for me not to hit my head. Aside from the the room had a modern bathroom, clean bed, flat-screen TV, and wifi. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Amsterdam.

Loved the hotel, great location, near all food and smoke shops. Could have coffee maker in room.

The rooms are small, YES! But I only was in my room to sleep that rest of the time I was out walking the streets. Great location easy yo get to from the train and in right next door to the red light district!

My stay here was great. Very conveniently located. The decor of my room was a bit bizarre, but so is Amsterdam! Overall good value, though that will depend on the rate you get.

We only needed a room for a one night layover and once we found its very hidden entrance, the hotel suited our needs for a clean place to sleep within walking distance to the train station and central sights. Staff was friendly and the room with its toilet-shower-sink combo was clean but very, very small (think dorm room for one but listed as a double). Price was good, however for a central location in Amsterdam.

The worst experience with hotels. The room is very very small. No chair, no shelves.

Good Location very nice staff. WiFi was terrible. Showers flooded the whole bathroom. No dressers no closets in room. Good for touists who don't spend much time in room

This is truly an Amsterdam fashion experience! My husband and I slept under a retractable hoop skirt. And all the hallways in the building were uniquely decorated with artistic flourishes. Our room was small but very comfortable. The staff were amazingly helpful with directions and suggestions of where to eat and visit.

Great location and close to good food and shopping. I would actually recommend this hotel but get a 3 star or better room. If we did, I would have probably rated this hotel better.

Although a bit hard to find (just a doorway with a sign overhead, amongst many), the Exchange Hotel is worth any effort, especially for the price. Each room is individually and uniquely decorated (we saw our friends` room, also). The rooms are a bit on the smallish side, but are very comfortable. The bathroom is also small but outfitted well. Location can`t be much better: 5 minutes from the train station. We were also only 15 minutes from the river cruise ship dock. All the staff we encountered were friendly.

The hotel is located in rhe center of the heart of Amsterdam, its really convenient and accessible, the rooms are clean and everything is exactly as they offer it on their site. The 24/7 available staff is so nice and kind !

All rooms are designed by some art students, and have different styles..... So, my room did not look like the one on the photo. A really small, really clean room under the roof.... For example, I had a shower which was about 3'x2.5' feet.... Perfect to get a good night sleep.... The staff is good and friendly....

very close to Amsterdam Centraal train station and lots of bars, restaurants, and other nightlife

Hotel is very close to train station, and everything! Staff is very helpful and nice. Room is small (we are in Europe!) but it has a comfortable bed. Bathroom is larger than other hotels I've seen. We really enjoyed our stay there and Amsterdam is an interesting city.
