For its category, this hotel is good : brand new, clean and convient. It offers basic services so it is good for a business trip if you don’t need high level of luxury and don’t spend your days in your room.
We were very fortunate to be attending the Rolling Stones concert in the Amsterdam Arena. This has to be one of the best hotels to chose, you literally exit the hotel and into the arena in 5 minutes. The room was perfect, staff very polite, dining options plentiful and the staff, wow how they catered for the guests after the concert was nothing short of amazing. One of the best weekends of my life and the Holiday Inn were part of it.
Breakfast was brilliant, huge choice - loads of tables. Very clean, nothing was too much trouble. Perfect location a little way out but all travel was very easy to work out. Make sure you buy the correct tickets, will cover for the whole trip.
The hotel is great, customer service is amazing, staff very helpful. Location, it’s 5 minuets walking to metro station which is 20-30 minuets away from down town. Next to Ajax Amsterdam stadium, there is a variety of food, entertainments and grocery around the hotel. The only problem I faced at the hotel is room service, it’s not as clean as it should be.
Very good hotel in Amsterdam. It s close to the public transport so you can be in town centre in 17 minutes. Friendly and helpful stuff. Breakfast is very good and you have a big variety of choices. I will recommend this place if you want to visit Amsterdam.
Stayed in the Holiday Inn Express from Friday Till Monday. On the bus route from the airport - so easy to get to. Also close to the Arena train station - so very easy to get to the centre of Amsterdam by train. The room was clean and fresh. We were on 15th floor - fantastic views and beautifully quiet. The breakfast catered for all tastes. Would use this hotel again as location suited us well.
The HI ArenA Hotel is an excellent choice if in town for an event - concert at Amsterdam ArenA. I caught The Rolling Stones at the ArenA and this Holiday Inn is located just a few short blocks away. Great location for attending events. This is NOT in Amsterdam central. The Metro station is also just a short walk away linking you to all things Amsterdam. The Hotel was very nice and modern. Great bed, shower, internet service ... all amenities were very well kept and pleasant. The front desk staff are fluent in a multiple of languages (English) and extremely helpful with directions and all inquiries I had. The restaurant was good and available late. Coffee and tea could be found at an in-house Starbucks or on the second floor at the restaurant. Very comfortable stay and I would definitely stay here again.
Nice hotel room! Clean tidy and simply appointed. Bathroom is a comfortable size and has a funky blue light that became a talking point with friends the next day. Breakfast was a little smaller than we had been used too but sufficed. Nothing outstanding to report but also nothing bad so overall a good, comfortable and convenient stay.
Stayed here for 2 nights celebrating sons 21st. Executive rooms were amazing. Lounge area, separate toilet, huge bathroom/shower room. Separate bedroom area, two TV’s. Tea/coffee making facilities, iron/ironing board, hairdryer. Slippers, robes, plenty of towels, bed not as comfy as expected but the mattress was clean! Everything looked brand new. Breakfast awesome but make sure it’s included in your room as €15 for members (€20+something for non members) each soon adds up! Quite a way out of town so lots of taxi’s which for 8 of us varied from €25-€45 one way! Very quiet hotel though. Would choose somewhere nearer the centre next time.
Great place to camp for a city trip to Amsterdam. Excellent room (business executive) with a a lot of light. Less then 10min by foot to the station where you can take a metro or train to the city centre.
