the "twin beds" are really one large bed divided in two. It is not appropriate for people who don't want to sleep together. The staff is very polite and friendly but not completely knowledgeable about the neighborhood. I asked for a restaurant recommendation and they only recommended the restaurant at the hotel, which was quite limited. We discovered several good restaurants within walking distance that they didn't seem to know about. The place is clean

We needed two rooms in Amsterdam with only a few days notice. This was a great place with a very fair price.
Very nice hotel! The tram and metro are just right around the corner so it's pretty easy to get to Amsterdam. Hotel itself was very clean and spacious. Didn't eat at the restaurant but it seemed fine. Great coffee though! We stayed for 2 nights and by the end wanted to stay longer unfortunately it was booked up for the weekend. We will be back!
