Quirky double bedroom with VERY comfortable bed, duvet and pillows and en-suite with powerful shower and wash basin unit in the bedroom. Check photos when you book so you know what the bedroom layout is like as may not suit guests with some mobility issues. iPad operated room with changing colour bathroom and various moods to choose from. Bedroom faced the main street on top floor so rooftop views. Could hear the trams below albeit very distant noise and not enough to disturb sleep. Breakfast was good with a variety of options. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. I arrived late unexpectedly due to missing a connecting flight and was welcomed with a free hot drink, water and fruit. The next day after I checked out, again staff couldn’t be more helpful when I left my luggage there to wander around the centre for a few hours. Upon my return, again the staff assisted with offering various options to get to the airport, offering me a free hot drink etc. Good WiFi and clean room. Would stay again.

High concept quirky modern sopt with ots going for

I think the younger you are the more you'll love this high concept, great energy, quirky hotel. The only negative -and it is unfortnately a big one is the rooms are so small that there are walls on three sides of the big, comfortable, bed. This makes it annoyingly complicated to get in and out of bed since the only way if from the bottom, not the sides like EVERYWHERE else in the word. Now for the good part -everything else. It's all high concept: you get an ipad int he room that controls the lights, curtains, tv, temperature etc. the shower is one of the best I've had in years of travelling and the free refillable water bottles are a lovely touch. The staff is incredible friendly, and the breakfast is top quality. the location is a little bit out of the way but if you're good with taking the tram there's a stop just in front. Seems like there are a few of these hotels so I guess the concept is working for them. It's got digital nomad fingerprints all over it so kaybe we're just a bit too old for navigating our way out of bed. Oh yeah, the less luggage you have the better- the rooms are quite small

Lovely hotel on the fringe of town, staff are excellent, polite and very helpful. 30min walk into main tourist areas, but you pass some amazing cafes and shops along the way it's a lovely walk. Albert Kuyp market a well worthy visit as is Vondel Park if you fancy a break from the streets. My advice is ignore public transport if you can (not that it's bad or anything negative) just you miss so much of the charm that is Amsterdam in the canals.

Stayed here for 9 days with me Fiancée. Loved the bakery/cafe next door, started our mornings there. Location is convenient, there’s literally a tram in front of the hotel and all the spots are within walking distance. Hotel was clean and the bed was huge, workers were all super nice. This hotel helped us fall in love with the city

The property and the staff were excellent. Be aware that the rooms are small, with tight quarters. We had no room on the bedside, just the wall, but in Europe, that is to be expected, and it worked. We had a hair dryer, an ironing room in the hall, A/C and great tech. The room is designed thoughtfully, we had everything we needed and found it a great little home away from home. The staff really stood out - whether it be at the front desk or the bar, they were fabulous!
