I am writing to formally complain about the completely unacceptable experience I had at your hotel on Valentine’s Day. Upon arrival, I was issued a room key only to discover the room had not been cleaned. I was told by the front desk to return in 20 minutes. When I returned, the room was still not clean. I was then assigned another room, where I found a brown stain on the sheets — something that should never happen in a hotel room under any circumstances. At 5:00 PM, staff were still cleaning rooms and multiple rooms were not ready for arriving guests. The ice machine was also not working. After leaving briefly to pick up dinner, we returned to our room only to find the door blinking red and refusing to open. We went back to the front desk and were issued a new key, which also failed to work. A staff member then came upstairs with a master key, and that did not work either. It is now 7:44 PM and we are still sitting in the lobby waiting for someone to get us into our room. This is on Valentine’s Day, which we planned in advance and paid for, yet we are unable to even access our room. To make matters worse, we overheard staff stating the hotel was overbooked by five reservations, leaving other guests with nowhere to stay. This shows a serious lack of management, planning, and basic operational control. This experience reflects extremely poor standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and guest service. We have stayed at Allentown Park Hotel on several occasions now. The hotel is clean, smells nice and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. In particular, Lisa and Linda at the front desk were outstanding with their customer service. They were always helpful and responsive to our requests. We highly recommend this reasonably priced hotel.

The breakfast experience was extremely disappointing. The food quality was ridiculous, and no one in the breakfast area was willing to communicate. Even after asking several times about the ingredients in the hot section, the staff member chose not to respond. The hotel was also full of homeless individuals, which made the environment uncomfortable. The front desk was frequently unattended. Additionally, the pool was supposed to close at 10 PM, but when I checked at 9 PM it was already closed. I called the front desk and was told to come back the next day. When I said I would check out, they told me they would call back in 15 minutes — but no one ever did. Overall, the service was awful and very unprofessional.

I don’t recommend this place is dirty everywhere, towels in the aisle the whole day, breakfast horrible they’ve only bagel and coffee until 9 o’clock the whole building was very cold even the pool area the pool water super cold, the walls are broken in the reception there was a bucket to catch the water that was dripping from the ceiling. seem like in this place They provide shelter to the homeless. We’re very disappointed we want to enjoy the pool and that never happened
