lovely hotel, clean, great breakfast food and area. would recommend stay, close proximity to Kutztown U.

Shower problems cost a star. But what really hurt was not having enough maids on staff to clean our room while we were gone for the day. Hotels know how many guests they will have, so they should be able to have the right number of cleaning staff. The choice hotels have is to either pay for more staff on busy days or to reduce the level of service. In our case, that meant no service at all because management decided to save money rather than offer a decent level of service.

Friendly staff, clean room and bathroom, good choices at breakfast!

Very nice rooms. Great value for the price. Staff was friendly and very well kept.

This was my second time staying and it was just as great as the first. The rooms are always so clean and cozy. Thank you

We stayed for just one night, but it was a good stay. The hotel was a bit far from the highway, but it was quiet and the staff was very friendly.

A few friends and I went on a snow sport trip to Bear Creek and the resort was booked so we looked for hotels in the area with good reviews and we ended up here. Signing in was a bit odd as the guy at the front wasn't sure how to do it. He explained how the regular lady took off and he wasn't sure how to check us in but that's not his fault. I waited patiently for about 10 minutes before someone came over and was able to check us in. We got the two bedroom suite and all parties were comfortable in their respective rooms. The breakfast buffet was very nice with a pretty good selection. I have an obsession with waffles so I was very happy to see a waffle making section. The fitness area really.. wasn't, and I didn't go into the pool as there was a whole family in there. The kitchenette in the suite was nice though I brought a lot of my own things because I wasn't clear on what was offered besides for a dishwasher, full fridge and a small cooking top. We went out and enjoyed our events for the day and came back to a nicely cleaned room. The housekeeping even ran the dishwasher while we were gone and it was still running when we came back (yes, that dishwasher isn't the best, and it did take some time). Overall, the experience was nice and next time we decide to come back to the area, we will come back.

My son goes to school in the area so my family has been visiting this hotel for the last 4 years. We enjoy staying here.

Great deal we got a suite for the whole week. We really liked their buffet and their friendlyness, I was there for an even and they were able to accomodate for shipping my loggage and also be there when the pickup was scheduled once I was gone

This is the best hotel in the area for the price, hands-down.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel the staff was Pleasant and professional. We will definitely be back..

Nice hotel a bit out of the way. Big room like all Homewood Suites there were generous buffet meals as well as utensils in the suite kitchen for preparing our own. Nice pool and gym.

Pillow had dirt on it, not sure blanket was washed. Room layout was silly (could not see TV from desk without rearranging furniture). Could hear many trucks from distribution centers across the road. Breakfast was nothing special.

This hotel was really nice. I asked for an early check in and although it can't be guaranteed, when I arrived at the hotel, they took my number and offered to call me as soon as the room was ready. This was awesome because I was traveling with my husband and daughter. As promised, they did call when the room was ready. That's great service.

The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was ok but wish they had pancakes, French toast or even a waffle maker. The pool was closed on the 1st night and they were vacuuming in the hallway at 8:45 PM. The location is in an industrial park so there are a lot of tractor trailers on the road but this did not bother us (our room was on the opposite side of the road) so did not notice the noise. It was conveniently located to our activities.

Highly impressed and will stay at this property again.

The hotel was in great shape but.......Housekeeping should have been much better. Left over candy on the coffee table (from previous guest or housekeeping), the bed looked like someone took a nap on it before we arrived and the shower head fell off as soon as the water was turned on. When brought to the assistant managers attention she made a simple apology, no offer to let us shower in a different room nor comment she would discuss with housekeeping, we were running late and I chose not to pursue a remedy. I would stay here again but would certainly inspect the room before settling in.

We were impressed with the great looking room, pool, kitchen and exercise room in the Allentown Homewood Suites hotel. When we got ready to turn in for the night, we opened up the sleeper sofa for our children and the mattress pad was dirty. We called the front desk, no answer. We called house keeping, no answer. My husband walked out to the front desk and told an employee we needed a clean mattress pad and the hotel never brought it to our room. We then decided to just put the sheets on the sofa bed and go to sleep. The sheets were supplied in a bag in the closet but there wasn't a blanket. My children used their beach towels for blankets. We then found out that the hotel automatically charges your credit card $50.00 just in case anything was damaged during your stay, and they hold the money for 3 to 7 days until they make sure everything in the room is o.k.! We also didn't receive soap for the dish washer. Lots of things were overlooked which made us have a less than happy stay. The $50.00 charge was the topper. We will not be going back.

We had played to stay here for 1 night while visiting family in Allentown, but extended our stay to 2 nights because we found the hotel so comfortable. We had the 1 bedroom suite. We appreciated having a small kitchen. The master bed and the fold-out couch bed were both comfortable. The only negative feedback we had was a disappointment in the breakfast buffet provided in the morning. The french toast sticks seemed to be partly frozen despite the staff cooking them and the options were slim (only 2% milk available). Granted, it is a free breakfast, but we went elsewhere the next morning.

We were very pleased with the Hilton Suites west of Allentown, PA. Our dog was welcome at no extra charges (as some hotels impose fees)! We will stay at the Hilton again when we travel to the Pennsylvania Dutch Country!
