Maintenance on the building is subpar for the price point. Fridge was frozen over in the room and froze the drinks I put in it. If the AC unit is at a super low temp when you enter the room…there’s a reason. Don’t make the mistake of turning it to a “normal” temp or you will end up sleeping in a swamp. Whatever disinfectant/cleaner they use smelled overpowering in the room. Door paint and bathroom caulking desperately needed attention. I was a single adult traveler and got put on the same floor with a bunch of (unsupervised?) teens that were noisy well past quiet hours. Continental breakfast was super basic and seemed like an after thought. Upside, employees were very nice.

The first room (201)was terrible. I don’t know where to start. Bathroom was nasty, the bathtub was filthy with rings around it. Hair was in the tub…rust around the faucet, shower head, the knobs and the shower rod. Rings around the toilet, paper floating around in the toilet. Sheets on the beds were pulled and half made up, they were old dingy with cotton balls all over them as well as the pillows cases. Wow, the mattresses were horrible as well, sunk in as well as lumpy. The floors were filthy in the bathroom and the carpet. Also it was stocked with towels, no Kleenex, no soap. Furniture hadn’t been dusted in a while. Thank God I brought disinfectant wipes and Lysol spray. I reported it to the front desk clerk and removed to another room (230)which was a little bit cleaner than(201). There was hair and hairpins left on the floor underneath the shelf and dirt behind the toilet. The mattresses on both beds too were sunk in and lumpy. Wires from the AC unit were hanging from underneath it. The coffee maker was filthy inside and outside. The grounds were well maintained, the lobby, the exercise room was appealing. In general this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The whole place needs a make over. There’s no ventilation in the bathrooms for the steam to escape. The ice machines were horrible, rusty and the ice had mold on it. We had to get ice from the nearby gas station. The hallways were dark on the second floor, I don’t know about the other floors. CMT

When I arrived, the interior looks great. However, the rest of the building from elevator, to walls, to door are filthy and needs painting. The first room was filthy with hair everywhere on the beds and all over the bathroom. Pillowcase with makeup on it. The second was even worst! Toilet was clogged and didn't flush. Bathroom was nasty. I couldn't believe this! It took a staff member to take me around to view and find a clean room. The 4th room was decent, but later discovered the floors hadn't been swept or mop. My white socks revealed that. That morning, I requested that the room be vacuum, swept and mop. Even told front desk that the floors were filthy. All I got was clean towels placed on my suitcase. I walked on towels throughout the room. I ended up buying supplies to sanitize and clean the room. Just filthy! I heard workers doing breakfast complaining about guest complaining about rooms not be clean. Instead of them working and cleaning rooms, they're sitting, on phone, and eating breakfast. The side entrance door doesn't lock and the keys doesn't work. So anyone can walk into the property I couldn't get another hotel due to them being booked. I'm very disappointed with this company and the care of their property. I will no longer stay on this property, the overall experience was AWFUL! I can't say "You get what you pay for" because they were costly, few dollars cheaper than Hilton. Hilton and others were booked! Know that you been warned! Worst stay ever

Stayed for 6 days, hotel did not want to provide towels. They book me 3rs floor said if I wanted towels I’d have to bring my own dirty towels & their elevator didn’t work half days I was there - then can ONLY get 2 clean towels. Clean towels had bunch dirty hairs was gross. Never again especially for that price

the room was FILTHY, the FILTHIEST I have ever experienced. I didn’t feel comfortable taking a shower because it was so dirty I’d definitely come with some type of rash. There was a dead bug in the window seal everything was dusty I had to squat to use the toilet I literally did want to touch anything, there was toothpaste splatter on the faucet from a previous stay splatter on the doors, I know it’s the LaQuinta so I didn’t expect much and I’ve stayed at the laquinta by Wyndham in west Monroe so I figured it would be similar but my GOD burn it down. I’ll be seeking a full refund.
