The room had an unpleasant odor. The only soap available was in the shower stall. There were no trash bins in the room. The breakfast area trash was over flowing so people had to leave their dirty paper plates on the counter. There were no utensils to eat with. I left the hotel three days early.
And we have stayed there over the years multiple times. The hotel has really gone down far as being clean and service. Couldn’t get clean towels every day. Elevator was broken. Breakfast was very limited. Staff act like they didn’t know what they were doing or cared. Will not be back.
Great front desk staff, room as expected and very clean
The room was very unique. I loved the shower, the refrigerator and microwave. I loved how everything was decorated it looked like a home on the beach. I really enjoyed my night. I'm looking forward to visit soon. Thank you for your hospitality!!

Everything was clean, new and working. I have been to hotels that were not so great. The only thing I had a problem with was the complimentary breakfast. There were some things that were not good .. No one cooks grits the way it was prepared. It was definitely horrible. The toaster was broken. A lot of the bread was stale. The esthetics of the building was evident money was poured in. The culinary aspects of the facility was not desirable.
The room was large, clean and comfortable. The property was perfectly situated for my needs.
The staff were very helpful and professional. Enjoyed my stay.

This was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were all very friendly, and even the breakfast was impressive. I'd definitely stay there again.
The staff is lazy, two night stay with NO housekeeping services. Requested clean towels from the front desk, staff refused to provide the towels unless we carried down the dirty towels. Which would NOT have been necessary if housekeeping would have cleaned the room and provided towels. I WILL NOT RETURN THERE.
Only bad thing i can say about this place is that the person that checked me in gave me three different times my room would be ready and it wasn't. I also witness her cheching in other guest that happened to be white and gave them a complimentary bottle of water. However after having me wait for over an hour, she didn't offer me anything. I still don't understand how several people came after me was checked in and I had to wait.
My husband and I were there in Alexandria for Mardi Gras. The stay was great except we had a few issues with getting the room warm/thermostat adjusted. The couch in the room torn on the sides and the shower door was faulty, however the hotel staff was great and willing to make our stay enjoyable.
The check-in was smooth and friendly. The staff had smiles and were very helpful. The room was in excellent condition. My kids especially loved the pool.
