My husband and I stayed here while passing through on our way to Savannah. The man at the front desk was very friendly, but the desk was a mess. The room was clean enough, but the sheets were stained and there was a dirty towel hanging on the back of our bathroom door when we got there. My husband wouldn't even let me go to the car by myself because of the neighborhood and random people hanging out in the parking lot. The breakfast was a joke. There was a choice of 2 different cereals and a loaf of bread. I would not stay here again.
Nice place, clean rooms. Many restaurants within walking distance. We chose pizza across the street. The breakfast was limited. Great stop for a family road trip. It was close to the highway. We took two rooms for the 5 of us.
While the accommodations were fine for the price. I would suggest staying on the 2nd floor. We stayed on a Friday night and there was a lot of activity in the parking lot at least until 3am. Being on the 2nd floor may help next time. The hotel manager was very pleasant.
I travel around the world in search of positivity.....so there is no surprise for me to say I found it here. The front desk personel greeted us with the warmest smile. We were tired and hungry and just wanted a clean quiet room.....we got so much more. We were given a huge king room for a little over the base starting price and the room matched with the price. There are numerous of eating restaurants only minutes away and there is a Grill and Chill right across the street. This hotel does get busy but the manager makes sure that the parking lot stays clean and safe. Get ready for a quiet and comfortable stay.
This property is in need of updating. The beds are uncomfortable. We stayed at this location because due to a race and local football game we had trouble locating an open room. I would not really recommend this hotel. If you just need a place to sleep then this will do but for the price I would look elsewhere.
This hotel should have been put in a better area but I have to say that it is clean. The people are nice and the housekeeping really does a good job. The rooms are very big the price is good. The beds are comfortable made of foam and the plus was the zipped mattress cover. The bathroom is really small.
Was a little skeptical about this booking. But it turned out to be ok for one night. We requested two bottom floor rooms months ago, due to mom and aunt not being able to climb stairs. Well when got got their, we had one room upstairs, mom can barely walk around using a cane let alone climb stairs. But the night manager carried our bags us so I could make sure my mom didn't loose her balance. The room itself wasn't too bad, it was clean..until we seen a roach crawling from behind the dresser. I just feel like so.e company should stay away until visitors leave!
We stayed there last year and the great customer service is what brought us back this time. The rooms are very The beds are comfortable and the shower, although a tad short in height, had really good water pressure. This is our new place to stay when we go to Albany.
My wife and i recently stayed here. The staff was very rude. Walking in da rooms while ur sleep. Roaches were every where . The rug was wet. Just thinking about it gives me the creeps. Then the guy a t the desk smelled like the sewer. And had the office as soo too..... could someone please show him the wsy to the shower.
It's hard to write a review of a decent hotel that isn't in a terribly nice area, but I figured I would anyway because I feel the owner deserves a good review. This is a very nice hotel but it's not located in a terribly nice area. Actually, there really isn't any really nice areas in Albany, GA (in my opinion) at least in the business district, but six of us on Motorcycles decided to give this a whirl and we are glad we did. The owner/operator was very nice, accommodating and there are a lot of security cameras on property so we didn't have any problems leaving bikes parked outside. We did not have any thievery or anything going on overnight, although a would-be prostitute tried to solicit one of our group in the morning before we left. We actually had a laugh about it, but then thought it over and figured that probably shouldn't happen at any hotel. Albany, GA is just not an upscale place though, so you get what you get for this kind of area. Still, I have to give it up for this owner who is really trying to present a decent property in the midst of this somewhat crappy area. If you're in Albany and you need a place to stay, I would definitely recommend this property because the owner really tries. The pool is nice too and overall, it's decent. I think there is only so much you can do, however, when located in a relatively depressed location. Still, don't shy away from here, it's not that bad. But I do want to be honest, for $59 a night, that's what you get... it's your decision now.
