This room was filthy. Mirrors and surfaces were not clean. Coffee maker and tray were moldy. I will never stay here again. This was a last minute need and I will not make this mistake again and I will share with everyone how bad this hotel is

The amenities were poor. I stayed only one hour after I arrived and I couldn’t get out of the hotel room fast enough. The room smelled like mildew. I started feeling nauseous. I was scheduled to stay for two nights and I decided not to because of the the odor. I tried to bring the back the key but, no one was at the front desk. I tried calling after I left,but no one answered the phone . I would like a full refund for my inconvenience. Please contact me at +15185779707 at your earliest convenience. Thank you. Price was good

This econo lodge is very dated and run down. But the staff was nice, the price was good and the breakfast was decent: cereal, bagels, hard boiled eggs and waffles and the coffee was good. If you are looking for a quick, cheap stopover in Albany, it was fine.

The worst motel I’ve ever stayed at. The parking lot is sketchy, the room wasn’t clean, there was blood on our lampshade. There were needle caps outside. Stay away!

Good, but pot

The room was very nice, the heating and cooling system worked perfectly. Sheets were too thin for us personally, bed was very soft. The shower had great pressure and temperature. The biggest complaint was the amount of pot. My husband is extremely sensitive to the drug and gets horrible headaches just from a whiff of it. The room next to us was smoking both in the night and first thing in the morning. There were others smoking pot as well, despite being multiple no smoking rooms. This should be banned from hotels. Just because someone else wants to destroy their lungs and brain cells, doesn’t mean we all have to.

What is the saying? “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover.” From the exterior, this place is a little run down. Obviously the hotel has been around for many years. Entrances to rooms are outside, which is also old-school. Along with this, the lobby is dated in appearance. Now for the good news. They have 24 hour staff and they are very friendly. The interiors of the rooms appear to have been updated. The mattress and bed pillows in my room were good quality. The room was clean. The showerhead delivered a nice spray and there was plenty of hot water. There is a complimentary breakfast which is basic but not fancy. Surprisingly good, coffee, juice, cereal, bagels and make your own waffles. Not much in the way of protein or fruit. But hey, the price is reasonable. Location is good. In Colonie, between Albany and Schenectady and close to a major shopping mall and plenty of restaurants and retail spots. Also a quick drive to the airport. Good for a night’s stay when you have had last minute changes to your travel plans.
