700 yardas (640 m) de playa de arena blanca y fina (con fondo arenoso una vez que esté en el agua) justo en frente del condominio. Esta es considerada una de las mejores playas de la zona, muy tranquila y perfecta para bucear, ya que está protegida por el arrecife de coral a solo 100 yardas y donde se pueden ver las olas rompiendo (ver fotos).

El área de la playa y la piscina están justo en frente de la unidad, se comparte con el lobby del Hotel Sunscape Akumal Beach Resort & Spa (ex Oasis Tulum) que, lentamente, compró más del 50% de las unidades de estos 4 edificios de condominios y los convirtió en habitaciones de hotel. Por lo tanto, en cualquier momento tendrá a los huéspedes del hotel y los propietarios / inquilinos de condominios compartiendo las sillas de playa, sombrillas (palapas en México) y la piscina. Se aseguran de que la playa esté perfectamente limpia. Lo único que no obtendrá es el alcohol gratis o cualquiera de los servicios 'todo incluido'. Su 'todo incluido' será el refrigerador en la unidad. Transporte disponible desde y hacia el aeropuerto de Cancún (CUN) por USD $ 75 por trayecto (1: 15 horas de viaje) + propina ($ 10?) (Van hasta 3 personas y USD $ 85 hasta 8) por Jeromy Transport. Te esperarán en el aeropuerto con un cartel con tu nombre.

El conductor de Jeromi lo estará esperando cuando salga del aeropuerto con un gran cartel con su nombre.
Una vez en el condominio, puede alquilar un auto por día a Enrique, el cuidador del edificio (un auto pequeño realmente lindo) por $ 35 / día o $ 210 por 7 días.

También puede alquilar un automóvil en el aeropuerto de Cancún (Blueway tiene autos realmente económicos, justo afuera del aeropuerto, aunque no tienen las mejores críticas).

Puede alquilar un automóvil en Tulum Pueblo (15 minutos al sur de la ubicación del condominio) Hertz Tulum Pueblo alrededor de USD $ 60 / día y lo traerán al condominio, aquí, y lo recogerán cuando quiera devolverlo (Fidel, quien trabaja allí, me contó sobre esto).

ADEMÁS: una de las mejores playas de la zona, generalmente tranquila y con un fondo arenoso (por un tiempo). Puedes nadar hasta el arrecife de coral y el agua rara vez se hace más profunda que 7 pies. Puedes ver peces de colores (siempre), tortugas (a veces), rayas y pulpos ocasionales (se camuflan con el fondo blanco).

Cuando se trata de transporte, puede conducir (estacionar frente a la puerta del condominio) o tomar los 'colectivos' (autobuses públicos, furgonetas blancas, USD $ 3) caminando hacia la autopista (0. 6mi / 1km). En estos 'colectivos' puede ir 30 minutos hacia el norte, a Playa del Carmen (USD $ 30 en taxi) para divertirse en sus excelentes restaurantes y clubes o 15 minutos hacia el sur, donde tendrá acceso a la segunda mejor playa. en el mundo, la playa de Tulum (USD $ 20 en taxi), con su multitud muy bohemia y eco hermosa (ropa opcional en todas partes en esta playa, aunque técnicamente no es legal en México). Para lo esencial tiene la ciudad de Akumal a 5 minutos al norte (USD $ 10 en taxi) o la ciudad de Chemuyil a 5 minutos al sur (USD $ 10 en taxi). Para grandes compras de comida, tiene un gran supermercado 'Chedraui' (nombre extraño para un supermercado incluso en español) 15 minutos al norte en 'Puerto Aventuras (USD $ 20 en taxi) y otro' Chedraui '(e incluso más grande) 15 minutos al sur en Tulum ciudad (USD $ 20 en taxi). A piece of paradise

As it being our first time staying somewhere other than an all inclusive resort we were so glad we chose Claudio’s Humble on the beach condo. Right from the start the communication was excellent and questions answered quickly. The checkin procedure as well as information regarding location, directions, transportation to and from Cancun airport, tips on grocery shopping etc was very well communicated and appreciated. Upon our arrival we found the condo inside and out exactly as we had seen it advertised on VRBO. Just steps to the beach and to the pool you couldn’t ask for anything better. The condo was clean and had all the amenities you would require during your stay. With it being the time of year for sargassum the workers did an excellent job of removing it from the beachfront. White sandy beach, clear water and lots of tropical life to enjoy with the snorkelling gear provided.If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation we would definitely recommend staying here. We will definitely return again.

Wonderful place to stay! The beach here is very nice with good snorkling.We have been coming to this condo complex for over 10 years. This was our first time in this unit. We have always rented a car - it is a little remote.

The perfect place to relax

We didn’t want to stay at a resort, we wanted something more private with the ocean at our feet and this condo was just what we were looking for. We were there for a week and in days we didn’t feel like going outside we still got to enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean from the living room. I really enjoyed the condo, the space was just enough for 2 people. It was clean and very well stocked with everything we needed to cook at home. Would definitely book again.

Lovely escape by the sea.

Claudio's little slice of heaven on the beach was perfect for my husband and I's 2 week holiday. The convenience of having a pool and the ocean just a few steps from the condo was simply wonderful! We'd recommend staying here to anyone looking for a nice little spot to chill by the beach, cook your own meals, or not and head to the very close Tulum, Playa del Carmen and Puerto Aventuras for the day or to take in some activities, shopping and restaurants too.

Great communication with the owner, but the property definitely needs some work.

While the owner was responsive in all communications, there were two major issues that we had with this property. 1. For the first 4 days in the unit we had to take showers in a unit 3 doors down the hall, as the shower and our unit and hot water were not functioning. 2. On the 5th day of our stay someone accessed the locked unit, and stole my wallet which contained a substantial amount of money along with all of my IDs and credit cards.

Location, Location 🌴

The location of this property is everything we expected!! The property was clean and steps from the pool and ocean. The only negative feedback I have is the water pressure and hot water for the shower - other than that it was perfect! Having the patio table and chairs along with the lounges outside was a plus since we were out there every morning drinking our coffee or just laying in the sun. People were jealous that we had a whole setup on the patio - something the resort owned condos do not have. We also enjoyed taking care of the cats - one particularly stayed with us our whole visit. Thank you for sharing your space with us - we definitely enjoyed our time there.

The small condo was very cute and comfortable. The photos are accurate. The kitchen is very well stocked and the bed and couches were comfortable. It was a little odd being surrounded by the all-inclusive folks. I went from feeling very smug and cool because our place was affordable, right smack on the beach, and we had our own private patio to feeling like the red-headed stepchild who wasn't invited to the party. It was interesting. As far as I could tell, most of the original condos are part of the resort, including most in our building. All in all, the place was very nice and it comes with its own condo cat.

Right on beach !!

Little hard to find but forgot to use the directions on maps I printed - my problem but Carlos answered when my husband called and directed us. Comfy bed, good AC, I had trouble adjusting hot water in shower and kitchen, no food or beer in fridge but we had stopped at chedraui and bought stuff, drinking water jugs replenished when we ran low ( that was really nice to have) shared beach with all inclusive next door - not a problem except they would reserve their lounge chairs under palapas with their towels etc..awesome opening door onto beach , nice little pool too. Nice parking spot right by door. Felt safe, raccoons did scare me one night on patio and the iguanas!! Bikini beach bar was great just a little walk to south of condo on beach. Loud music from sunscape all inclusive but only one night out of 7 so not so bad! Once we got combination to patio door lock we felt secure leaving condo to go to beach out that door Nice easy to use locked safe in closet for valuables. Hubby liked that it was on ground floor - no steps. Carlos said we wouldn’t be disappointed and no we weren’t. Very nice once we figured everything out. !!

Awesome little Mexican condo !

We had a great time at Claudio’s little piece of paradise off the beach. You could not ask to be so close to the warm clear Caribbean waters that the Maya Rivera is known for . The resorts have to tried to buy out all the properties in the area. Glad you didn’t sell out ,keep this little gem for people to enjoy. Great for couples by who probably are not going to be staying in the condo all day anyhow. If u still wanted to it has everything u need to just lounge in the condo or patio .

Best location

We had an amazing stay at this property! The description was 100% accurate and the host was great at communicating and giving information and recommendations. It was so easy to get around with the collectivo to akumal beach, publeo, tulum, playa del Carmen. The bikini beach bar, a 2 min walk down the beach had great staff, food and drinks. We had a pool and the beach at our front door. Only thing that could have been better was the bed, we had everything we needed and loved the location. We definitely recommend! Thank so much for everything Claudio !

Every time is perfect!

We’ve stayed here multiple times and each and every time we grow to love it more and more! Everything you could ever need is supplied just make sure to leave behind what you don’t use for the next folks to enjoy! We used the supplied bbq almost every single day and it was fantastic! The little patio is literally on the beach, it’s heaven….we stayed for 2 weeks this time and wished we had 2 more. You’ll love this place, don’t pass it up!

Time Capsule of an era I remember fondly

Yes it is dated but it feels like the old Mexico I visited as a teenager. Decor is straight out of the eighties but everything you could need is at your fingertips and you can’t beat the view and beach access! It was so nice to have a kitchen/BBQ to make meals and sit out on the patio and feel as if you live there. It is not a modern hotel room so if that is what you are after you won’t find it here but this was so much better/ more charming IMHO. Check in was difficult if you don’t speak Spanish as the only person who can let you in the gate spoke zero English but we worked it out. Some of the information on the site is out of date. We could not find a key (it was unlocked) so we never locked it, there was a padlock to lock the sliding door but we weren’t given the combination but never felt unsafe and just kept our valuables in the safe..also we could not find the outdoor trash.. it’s not where indicated on the site and no one knew where it was so we just tied up our bags well and left them in the room. The Wifi was super fast, water got really hot &lots of fresh water for drinking. About a kilometer south on the beach is a cute little beach bar and they also release baby tortugas every night and it is so cool to watch! ( I don’t know if this is seasonal but we were here first week of October) All in all we loved it!

The Perfect Place For Us!

For my wife and I this was the perfect place for our vacation. We try not to stay in big hotels. We prefer smaller grounds and more private residences. The living, sleeping and kitchen areas are nicely divided. The bed is very comfortable! The kitchen has virtually everything you could need if you look around for it. It was great to walk right out the back door and onto the sand from the patio. While it is right next to the larger hotel, we had few neighbors in our building and our pool are was rarely ever used by more than a couple of people. There was some seaweed on the beach, but the hotel crew worked valiantly to remove it. There was far less of it on our beach than further down the bay. The Bikini Beach Bar is a definite place to go get food and drink. It was all good and reasonably priced. Great snorkeling right on our beach. You definitely need to rent a car to stay here, which you should do no matter where you stay in this area anyway. To the few who complained about things not being perfect, sure you’ll find some rust on a shower pipe or the washing machine. So what? Everything worked. The shower is a good size, and got us clean. I’m 6’6”, and it was roomy. The machine got our clothes clean. We stayed 10 nights and after our fifth night, someone cleaned up the entire apartment, and changed our sheets and towels. We were also restocked with fresh drinking water. Claudio was very responsive to the few questions I had. Just be careful with food on the patio. Don’t leave it unattended. There are raccoons and other coatis that will snatch your food. But, for us they were cute. We even got a visit from a peacock! My wife told me several times that I found the perfect place. We definitely plan to come back!
