- The master bedroom with a comfy king bed (and 600 thread count linens) has views both of the sparkling ocean and the lush jungle, with an ensuite full bath with tub/shower and two sinks.
- The second bedroom has two double beds with romantic mosquito canopies and a full bath also with tub/shower.

Each bedroom has its own balcony. There is a new 50" SMART TV in the living room.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooktop, microwave, convection and browning oven, refrigerator, many small appliances, serving dishes, spices, cloth napkins, and candles—everything to make your stay enjoyable . . . . and memorable. Dining is at the breakfast bar or the dining table, with magnificent views. There is daily maid service (you do not need to do dishes or make your bed if you don’t want to!), 24-hour security, and room safe. We are concerned about our environmental impact, and have been awarded the CEA Ecological seal of approval for environmental protection.

Playa Caribe is within walking distance of beachside gourmet restaurants and breakfast cafes, and abounds with activities like snorkeling or scuba diving on the offshore reefs, swimming in the unique cenotes, tours to Mayan ruins, or siestas.

The Maya name Akumal means “land of the turtle” because turtles actually do lay eggs and hatch here during the summer; this is an incredible life affirming experience to watch.
