First, our original house was canceled a few days before we arrived and go no support from VRBO. I called every day looking to get an answer and by the time they got me a resolution (less than 24 hours before we arrived) i had already had to book another house. The second house was then broken into and robbed on night two due to a faulty lock in the master bedroom. I have called multiple times to VRBO asking or compensation, the home owner has denied a refund saying VRBO should have insurance and i have not had to open three separate cases with VRBO. So far, to date, VRBO has told me my case has been "escalated" but they have not timeframe for a return call or resolution. Today marks two weeks since the first case was opened and since we were robbed and still no resolution or even contact from VRBO to help resolve the issue.
