I went to Brussel and Bruggs fro a two-day trip and stayed at Best Western-Orchidee for one night, and my experience with Hotel Orchidee is great. The staff was very nice and helped me find an Oriental restaurant for dinner. Free breakfast is included and so that I don't need to worry about that ...
Great little city....beautiful walking, old world architecture, great restaurants and bars, smoker friendly, very dog friendly (dogs are allowed in the restaurants). The Casselbergh was in a great location. The breakfast was yummy and the front desk went above and beyond to help you out with anything ...
The Floris was a great location close to all the tourist places and restaurants. The breakfast was very good and the room was ok. There was an indoor swimming pool and exercise room. One lady at the desk was not friendly at all and the check in was 3 PM and there was not a room ready until then. ...
We loved the hotel which was beautiful and in a great location however there was no concierge and the front desk staff, who were sweet, knew nothing about where to go, what to eat or what to do. A hotel of this caliber should have trained staff. The room was gorgeous as is the hotels but just a small ...
Location was superb - walkable to everything but on a quiet street. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location a little removed from historic market area and a manageable walk from train station. Perfect for our overnight stay. Surprisingly quiet although our room was next to the elevator.
This hotel is clean and comfortable. They serve a wonderful free breakfast. The old town center is a short walk away as well as lots of good shopping. Only complaint is that the WiFi is truly terrible.
3-day stay on vacation, perfect, quiet location, efficient and helpful staff, elegant, immaculately clean room + property. Grocery store and restaurants very close, easy walk everywhere. However, Brugge, like so many European cities today is totally packed with tourists and just too crowded on the streets especially on weekends. Bicyclists demand to rule everywhere.
It was good. The location, staff, and lobby were very good. However, the actual room was average and lacked some needed renovations.
