The staff here are rude. I think I was interrupting the guy at the front desk from his facebook session asking simple questions about breakfast. Little things like, "where is the breakfast area" and getting a simple pointed finger. They need a lesson in customer service.
Wonderful hotel. Superb location. We were there in February and could not take advantage of the veranda right next to the canal. That would have been an additional bonus. The sitting room with its fireplace and the breakfast (highly recommend you include it in the overall price) room are very elegant ...
We were happy to find a place that would house our family of 4 for a reasonable price, and the hotel is definitely centrally located, but in a town with so many charming nooks and cozy hideaways, Martin's Brugge seemed very utilitarian. It was functional and clean and the staff were pleasant, but ...
We loved the hotel which was beautiful and in a great location however there was no concierge and the front desk staff, who were sweet, knew nothing about where to go, what to eat or what to do. A hotel of this caliber should have trained staff. The room was gorgeous as is the hotels but just a small ...
This hotel is not in the center of Ghent, but I don't regret booked it. It's a short and pleasant walk to center of city. And since it's not right next to the Bellfort, we can hear the bells but not too loud and disturbing. The room is a little smaller than I thought (in which it's a little crowded ...
This hotel is clean and comfortable. They serve a wonderful free breakfast. The old town center is a short walk away as well as lots of good shopping. Only complaint is that the WiFi is truly terrible.
Great location a little removed from historic market area and a manageable walk from train station. Perfect for our overnight stay. Surprisingly quiet although our room was next to the elevator.
3-day stay on vacation, perfect, quiet location, efficient and helpful staff, elegant, immaculately clean room + property. Grocery store and restaurants very close, easy walk everywhere. However, Brugge, like so many European cities today is totally packed with tourists and just too crowded on the streets especially on weekends. Bicyclists demand to rule everywhere.
It was good. The location, staff, and lobby were very good. However, the actual room was average and lacked some needed renovations.
