The staff were lovely, the beds comfy, room warm and the kitchen handy but...
The shower leaked all over the floor, the shower door screamed on opening and closing and the lights were really dim.
Now tell me, who ever came up with the idea of glass walls on bathrooms? Ridiculous. I wasn't expecting 2 walls of glass (even though it was fluted) that left nothing to the imagination. Let's say there was a dinner at the dining table, which is next to the bathroom. Mum says "excuse me for a moment" and she closes the bathroom door however you can't help but see her face straining and hear the associated sounds. You can't miss it. The shower recess is clear glass from within the fluted glass so at the right angle, whether intended or not, you get a clear view of someone washing their unmentionables. Fluted glass, straight on hides nothing.
If they find a fix for the bathroom, it would be a great hotel.
