Everything is amazing

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this resort. The food was AWESOME! The Bed- OMG! I slept like a baby each night. I stayed in a Junior Suite and although the room was not facing the ocean, I had an awesome view. The only negative comment I would make would be about the smell of rotten seaweed that comes from the ocean. This problem is not a reflection of the resort because its a natural occurrence when seaweed rots. It smelled like rotten eggs and effected my ability to breath properly due to my sensitivities to strong odors. But- because the resort uses natural biodegradable deodorants to reduce the odor, this management provided some relief, but unfortunately was not 100% effective. Other than the strong rotten egg smell, I really enjoyed this resort. I would give it 20 stars and would highly recommend the Bahia Principe Escape Ambar to anyone planning a trip to Punta Cana.

Number one if you’re booking an ocean view room, none other rooms are an actual full ocean view. There are all partial rooms and they have two actual rooms that are full of periods, but they only give it to a guest who stay apparently 16 nights they said . I stayed there for seven days whenever I went to the seafood restaurant. The lobster was never properly cooked and didn’t even taste like lobster. And the French restaurant is not good. They have three actual good restaurants which is a steakhouse hibachi in Italian, which is more mid. The water views on the beach aren’t too bad unfortunately when I came here it was in August and they never disclosed that their entire beach is covered with seaweed, which would probably have been nice if they said that ahead of time. My girlfriend lost her room key and charge $90. Overall, I probably would not come back here again. It wasn’t too bad of a trip but for the price that it is it 100% should be way better and they are definitely way more better resources that are there for this price, this resort is major false advertisement and is 100% not as good as it makes it seem like

Majestic Elegance is amazing! The resort is beautiful and very well kept. There is nightly entertainment each night and is festive at night but no overly crazy. We stayed on the Elegance Club side which is adults only. It was very quiet and enjoyable. The pools were very clean. I read reviews where the pool tiles were coming off the bottom of the pools. But, at least on the adults only side, the pools were fine. Anyway, that is a petty thing to focus on anyway. The pools were amazing. Our butler, Santiago, was wonderful. He always made sure we had everything we needed and checked in on us. He even checked us out when we were leaving which made things go smoothly. The food was great with a wide variety of foods to choose from each meal. The menu changes daily. The housekeeping service was excellent as well. The room was cleaned daily with the floor swept and mopped. We never had sand on our floor. Our refrigerator was restocked daily with plenty of water and sodas. Only a couple of negatives. I’m aware that August is peak season for seaweed however, they only cleaned the beach once the entire week we were there. Also, this is a smoking resort and it seemed the vast majority of people smoked which was a little annoying at times. Overall, our stay was excellent and I would highly recommend.
