Prague is an historic city located in Czechoslovakia that attracts tourists from around the world. The city is well known for its food and architecture, both of which can be enjoyed at any time during the year. Because of this, the best time to visit the city may be during its off-season, between November and March. The temperatures during this period are fairly chilly, with lows dropping down into the mid-20s, but the city’s best attractions are open and the crowds are gone. While visiting the city, sightseeing is often a favored pastime, with a wide range of architecture available for viewing, from thirteenth-century buildings to the modern Dancing House. Enjoy tasty eateries, take in some classical music productions presented in the many music halls, or visit one of the many churches dotting the city.
With a mix of old European charm and modern flair, the city of Prague has much to offer its visitors. Travel on one of the many available flights from New York to Prague is easy to arrange using Orbitz.com, which leaves visitors with a bit more money to explore and enjoy the ancient city.
