The security at PEK and SGN were atrocious as usual. Every piece of kit had to be inspected - especially digital camera, the currency and document cache, USB chargers of all size, spare phones and all cables. Transit Security took an hour as did the original security. Other than that, everything else was great. SGN and PEK both have free Reverse Osmossis for fill up. None of this $5 a water bottle gouging BS common in the US. Despite the over sized security, the flights were fantastic. Amazing improvement on Air Chiba long haul business class. Very underrated.in my mind.
