Decent stay

The room was reasonably priced but did not have a window facing outside. The window faced the hallway. It could be claustrophobic for some. The room was clean. The breakfast was basically a few cereal choices and bagels.

This is a quirky property. It is more like a 2 story enclosed Motel with no exterior windows. The window in each small room either faces an exterior hallway or the sort of nice interior atrium. The free breakfast is "ok Carbs". The location is just off the "main" street State St in a clearly economically depressed area. One semi-nice restaurant Ezio's. The only other hotel choice is a Holiday inn Express in typical Walmart strip mall area about 2 miles off the main road that lead to "downtown Salem".

The place was nice, and the room was clean. The room was very warm (80 degrees). Their cooling system was not working. They did provide a fan to try to help the problem. I was just moving warm air around in the room. I survived. AC
