My room shower wouldn’t turn on. Called front desk and spoke to Sandy at 6am. She put in a request for maintenance that was that. I asked to have my room moved she told me she couldn’t accommodate that’s request. An hour go by I call again to see if there was any update on when someone would come out to fix it she stated maintenance wasn’t in and said she was unsure when they’ll be in. Maintenance didn’t get to the room until 8am. He comes to try and fix the problem but couldn’t so as he proceeded to leave I asked once again for my room to get changed as I was running late for work. He said he’ll tell sandy. He somehow manage to fulfil the request that I initially requested. All I wanted was a simple room change so to the shower not working and it took 2 hours until maintenance came to get what I needed. SMH

We stayed here as a halfway point to our final destination. Check-in went smoothly. Very friendly staff at the desk. Breakfast was great with many options. Breakfast staff were also very pleasant.

I discovered AT CHECK-IN that I had inadvertently booked for exactly a week after my desired check-in date. The hotel concierge and Expedia worked over the phone to correct MY error and really save the day. Cannot express my appreciation for such great customer service from both. Comfortable bed, decent breakfast, easy access to the University of Delaware. However, the rooms need major updating, with very old cabinets, carpets, furniture, etc. Fortunately, everything worked properly in my room, and the bed was comfortable despite obvious older parts throughout the rest of the unit.
