The hotel was excellent value for the price. It was clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly. I was traveling alone and felt safe there. I was so pleased I ended up extending my stay.

Overall, it was good stay. Despite being across from the University of Delaware the area wasn’t the greatest. Panhandlers and some strange folk were around, but you can’t fault the hotel for that. As for the hotel itself it was a bit older than others in the area, but I found the room nice albeit a bit heavy on pine tree air freshener. The place gets an extra star simply because the lady at reception was super friendly and helpful. I needed to use the “business center” (that’s misleading it’s an iPad only) for printing and the printer was non functional. However, the lady was ultra nice and let me print to hotel’s printer even though I needed a lot of forms. She was very understanding. Bed, shower, etc were all fine for a quick few nights.

Special Olympics Adventure

Good experience. Love the breakfast choices and closeness to Special Olympics events. Very welcoming and accepting to all. Kids had small spill at breakfast but staff quickly and happily cleaned it up.

Stayed 8 days. They kept “forgetting” to clean our room. Even after going to front desk and requesting specifically that they clean it. Also, they only have hot food in breakfast area on Saturday and Sunday so the other days had to go out to breakfast if you want any kind of protein or hot food. Also, there is literally nothing in walking distance of this hotel to do or even walk to a mini mart or anything.
