Everything was excellent — the hotel is clean, comfortable, and very welcoming. The staff is polite and helpful, especially Chris, who greeted us warmly and quickly arranged our room when we arrived exhausted after a long train trip. His kindness and efficiency made a great first impression, and we truly enjoyed our stay.

The room was very clean and we slept well. However, the award-winning advertise breakfast was not an accurate statement. When we came downstairs, there was no more batter for waffles, there was no oatmeal, and the staff refused to bring out more food claiming that breakfast will be over soon. If we were informed that breakfast is till 10 AM the variety should remain till closing so that there is food to eat, especially for kids.

Checkout process was not so great. Wanted to extend. And was told there was nothing. Booked the sister hotel. Then was told there was something. So was going to unhook. But the manager assures me the sister property was cool too. I go over and the sister proooerty was under construction. A total mess. This is AFTER I moved all of my stuff from on hotel to the other. Not sure how a manager resolve an issue by giving you a bigger issue. But wasn’t a nice way to end the holiday.
