Host was extremely accommodating. We were coming from a snowboarding session during the massive snow storm. Got to the inn at 10pm with a dead phone and no access to instructions for the self check-in and someone at the building connected us to the building manager which helped us get into our units.

Pros: room has 2 exposures for excellent sunlight and peaceful views, nice modern bathroom, chocolates, coffee and beverages were nice touch, loved that I could help myself to more towels, easy check in, lovely convenient restaurant and bar downstairs, easy parking. Not pros: creaky floors (room 4), lighting dim, I booked 2 nights and after the 1st night I saw housekeeping, but they didn’t clean or offer to clean my room.

The mattress should have been retired ten years ago. The noise from the restaurant below was incredibly loud. If you did manage to fall asleep if your spouse got out of bed the loud buckling of the floor boards would wake you. Even after the loud music stopped the restaurant employees yelling to each other as the cleaned and closed up was loud. I have had a better nights sleep on a destroyer during a hurricane.

I really liked how easy it was to check-in. Each room has its own locked keypad which makes it easy to come in and out of the room without needing a physical key. The Inn had a quaint charm and lots of character. Lots things to do and eat in the area which is a plus.

Easy check-in, quaint room.

Check in was super easy. The host messaged me the code for the door lock on our day of check in and no issues. The room is above a steakhouse in an older, Victorian style home. The room has everything you need. A bed, a smart tv, a toilet and a shower. The room was clean when we arrived and the shower had different shampoos and soaps in it. The house is approximately 1 mile from the downtown shops and bars/restaurants. A lot of the shops close early but the bars are open pretty late. There’s a good mix of food choices so there’s something for everyone. Lake Wawayanda was nice. It has a nice sandy beach and is only a 20 minute drive from the house. Overall, my wife and I had a nice weekend getaway from work and life. I would return to this property in the future.
