The space Originally built in ~1825 as a Ship Captain’s home, this house has been lovingly updated over the past 200 years. Known as the Davol-Allen house, the most prominent sailor to own this home was Captain John J. Allen in the 1870s.
Converted into a 2 family home in the 1900s, you will have access to the second floor unit. This 3-bedroom, 2nd floor home features a queen bed, full bed, and two twins (combined to make a king).
Original wood floors, beautiful Greek Revival colonnaded entrance, with original trim and staircase, and soaring ceilings, you can enjoy historical details along with modern conveniences of central AC and small home gym with Peloton and yoga mat.
Enjoy a semi-private back yard with grill, fire pit, and comfortable outdoor seating.

Great location! Walking distance to bike/walking path and lots of restaurants! Clean! Had everything we needed! Comfortable beds. Position of toilet makes it awkward for taller guests. The plug in air fresheners in each room were too strong for us so we unplugged all of them.

We had a great stay! The location is unbeatable and the unit was exceptionally clean upon arrival. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our trip. While the layout is definitely a bit "quirky," it’s full of the character you’d expect from a historic building in this area.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment for a long Thanksgiving weekend. The unit was very clean and cozy, our kids enjoyed each having their own bedrooms, and the beds were very comfortable. Not only was it near our family members who we were visiting, but it was also within a 3-5 minute walk from some of our favorite restaurants in Warren: The Guild, The Waterdog, Wharf Tavern, etc. And the owners were very responsive to any questions I had, so it was all a very positive experience, one that we look forward to repeating on our next visit!
