It was very easy to communicate with Julia about our arrival. It was a quick check in process as well as a super simple check out process! The accommodations were great and just what we needed for our family! Great location walking distance to town.

Avoid if you are a solo female traveller

I arrived and no one was available to greet me. I waited in the cold, wind and rain for the owner to let me in. She wasn't free so she sent her child along who couldn't find the key. After about 20 mins I got into the flat which was nice but much smaller than expected. After doing some shopping I arrived back to rest for a few hours but began to feel uncomfortable and uneasy. As it got nearer to sleeping I was finding it difficult to breathe, it felt like there was no oxygen in the air, there was a smell of smoke/perfume. It was really uncomfortable. I eventually contacted the owner (she was living underneath) she said there was no probem with the oxygen levels and that she was a nurse so she would know. She put the air conditioning on and was abrasive with me. Eventually, I contacted customer support for a refund as I couldn't stay in the flat. I spent the whole night sitting outside in the hallway where the air was fine. I left in the morning and received no refund. This is not the first time this has happened to me. As a solo female traveller it's hugely concerning that there is no emergency help available when trapped by a situation like this with nowhere safe to go. Hotels.com have not helped. It seems hotel owners can take your money and then offer no refund if the place is not fit to stay in. I would consider this criminal theft plus "actual bodily harm" which is made worse by the fact the owner is female. Avoid this place if you are a female on your own.

Julia was incredibly helpful and a pleasure to work with. Very informative, responsive and helpful. The place is immaculate, clean and comfortable. The best sleep I had in the week I was in Italy. Wish I was able to stay longer. I will definitely stay there again on my next trip!

Good apartment , very well located, but unfortunately the pictures are a combination of 2-3 apartments so it's not what you expect. On our apartment, balcony was not available.
