Family visit

We planned to stay 10 days, there wasn’t a table to sit at or chairs if you wanted to eat meals. We appreciate some kind of household instruction for watching t.v., using the air conditioning unit or operating the locks when exiting. This would be a good place to stay if you didn’t plan on any time in the unit. Also a good wind came up and the shredded patio umbrella collapsed. We left early.

Needs improvement!

There are some inaccuracies in the listing which we pointed out to the host, but it appears after more than a week the listing hasn't been updated. The listing says check in is at 3:00, but didn't received check in instructions until after 5:00. There is an unexpected step down between the main area and the kitchen (which you must go through to get to the bathroom). The building was built on a slab, probably a garage conversion, and sits nearly at ground level. There were numerous earwigs throughout the cottage - in the bedding, on the ceiling and walls and especially on the floors. The yard is full of weeds, especially foxtails. Not a good place for your pet! We would not stay here again.

Very cold house

The house was small and fine - however there is no furnace in it. They provided 3 small electric heaters. It was literally freezing when we checked in. I called the host and she said that after 20 minutes the heaters would heat the home. They didn’t. I called again and she sent over a fourth heater. We were in our winter jackets until 8:30 pm when it finally was warm. The host was super responsive and I can only suggest that those heaters are turned on hours before guests arrive or that they never turn them off. We actually had to lay towels on the floor so that our feet didn’t freeze! In summer - this won’t be a problem. Again - the host was very responsive and understanding!

Charming Cottage off the Main Street

Hidden Gem in Ukiah. Very charming upscale decor with special touches. Very comfortable beds, complimentary welcome wine bottle, coffee in the morning, large white towels in spa like bathroom with complimentary lotions, shampoo etc. The host is extremely responsive and very pleasant to work with.
