Nice positive attitude and although basic continental breakfast stuff-they not stupidly trying to safe a dollar by stinginess. This good business-help yourself. Another place nearby has you fill a form then daily deliver the portion to room. Both better than nothing, but one is the smarter model. Cheers to staff and Carlo managment/owners this light touch smart business model.

Clean, comfortable, modern accommodation

Modernised room that was clean and comfortable. Centrally located. Little bit of noise through the sliding doors on the balcony but nothing too horrible. Was usually very quiet after about 8pm. The management team and reception team were also great to connect with. I'd booked an 8 night stay initially but needed flexibility as I was in town due to a family emergency. The management team were very supportive and helped ensure I could tweak by stay period as required. This removed a huge worry off my shoulders. On previous visits to Townsville, I'd booked hotels in the CBD / South Townsville. The Monte Carlo will now be my first option when next visiting.
