Welcome to Walker cabin in the Peaceful Side of the Smoky Mountains!

Play games in the cozy living room or at the dining table, take a long soak in the large jetted tub, swing outside on the deck and enjoy nature, grill up your favorite meal. Catch your favorite movie on the Smart TV.

Reset and relax in Townsend. This is the Peaceful Side of the Smokies.

We are a pet friendly property. We allow 2 dogs that are over 1 year old for a $50 pet fee.

*Property does have a shared driveway.*

Enter into the living room where you will find a comfy futon, a fireplace (useable Oct-April), and a smart television. Play board games or snuggle up and enjoy each other's company. Our place is cozy but we feel love grows best in smaller spaces!

The indoor dining table has seating for four provided.

Head over to the kitchen where you have everything you need to make a meal and save some money instead of eating out. We have a refridgerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee pot, along with all the dinnerware, silverware, pots and pans. If you prefer to grill, we have a gas grill outside and the kitchen is equipped with grill tools.

The bathroom is on the main level and has a standalone shower and a jacuzzi tub big enough for two. Enjoy a long soak after a fun day in town exploring.

A beautiful loft area is where you will find the best place to rest your head. The queen bed is just right for a good night's sleep. New Lucid matress in November 2022. There is also a small desk in the bedroom area if you need to do a little work while you're staying.

On the deck you will find two rocking chairs, a porch swing, and a dining table. Have meals outside, take a seat in the rockers and wind down with a glass of wine, or swing on the porch swing and take advantage of the beautiful weather

Great location—not too far from Cades Cove Loop—with plenty of space and privacy from neighboring cabins. The futon couch was surprisingly comfortable, and we loved relaxing in the large tub (highly recommend bringing Epsom salts!). The gas fireplace made everything feel extra cozy.We ended up spending most of our time on the back porch with our dogs—it was the perfect spot to unwind. We even brought a hammock and hung it between the porch post and swing, which made it even better. Would definitely stay here again!For fellow scent-sensitive folks, we were excited that there weren’t any overpowering synthetic smells in the cabin—no air fresheners or plug-ins, which made it feel much more comfortable. The bedding and towels did have a noticeable detergent scent, so if you’re particularly sensitive, you may want to bring your own.

Cabin was nice and clean and had everything you would need. The cabin is on a property with multiple other cabins and it wasn't as secluded as I thought. The rental procedure was a lot compared to everything else I've rented over the years. I'm sure there is a good reason but it's a bit much and LOTS of rules. It's down the street from Tuckaleeche Caverns so that's nice and close to the GSMNP.

Owners are excellent at communication and very helpful! Nice little cabin. The cabin is as listed. We had a lot of loss in our family in 2025 and have been griefing the sudden loss of a very close family member. We came here to unwind and regroup for the new year. To walk in and see two large red cardinals (I’m from the south so if you know, you know) was heart warming to say to least. Thanks for letting us stay.

We LOVED this place! It had the "cabin-in-the-woods" vibe we were looking for but was only 10 minutes or so away from town. The place was spotless and well set up. We especially enjoyed breakfast and morning devotions on the back deck. Hosts were super responsive! I think any questions we asked them were answered in under half an hour (sometimes with video instructions!) We would absolutely recommend staying here, especially if you are exploring the Smokies like we were.

Cute cabin. Roomy, nice kitchen, big tv, comfortable bed. Parking could be tricky if other cars there at their cabins, this cabin vehicle would have to back down drive alittle ways to turn around, but since we were lucky & used other cabin parking to turn around. Toilet started running & i alerted Nicole as soon as it did, never got a response. It got worse & ran/shut off on, all the time. A bit annoying trying to sleep. The couch(futon) wasn't comfortable to sit on, but we managed. All in all, i do recommend the Walker cabin, the 2 main issues we had were our own fault(roku tv, no reg. tv programs, loft stairs, but we knew both this going there & didn't think it through.) They make checking in easy with coded door lock & provide everything you may need in a kitchen to cook. If we were younger, this would be a perfect cabin to stay in

Quiet Cabin Getaway

We enjoyed our stay very much. Someone else left a comment that the bed was too firm. Maybe the mattress has been changed, because for us it was just right. There was only one negative, and largely because we are both over 65... I think we might avoid a loft bedroom next time. We old folks were a bit challenged by the stairs... but the effort was worth it for such a peaceful stay.
