Great boutique hotel and good service. The entry way and check in desk need some sprucing up, but our room was great - big, nice and bright and right in the middle of a cool neighborhood with a fun vibe.

So glad The Beverley is back! Tho small - about the size of a modest Japanese hotel room - the bed is comfy, the bathroom is nicely-sized and pristine, and there's enough amenity to be overall relaxing and restful. For a brief downtown stay, this place is ideal. No elevator will be an issue when I'm less mobile, but it's okay at my current fitness level (which is "joe average").

Firstly I was greeted by a lovely receptionist who made me feel very welcomed. Although I arrived quite early they were more than happy to store my luggage until check in. Upon arrival for check in, I was informed they had taken my luggage to my room, which Ithought was a very nice gesture. Upon arrival to my room, the room was very clean with complimentary bottles of water, tea and coffee. The shower was amazing, three settings and luxury shampoo, conditioner and showergel provided. The tv is positioned perfectly above your bed, so you can just wake up, sit up and switch on while you have your morning beverage. Their is a modern AC fitted with very good heating, housekeeping was great with bins emptied, rooms cleaned and tails replaced regularly. All in all, this hotel, has great friendly, knowledgeable staff who are on hand to help anyway they can. The rooms are very high quality for a cheaper cost compared to other hotels in downtown and the location is amazing. There is a nice cafe called 'good behaviour' on the bottom floor, retail outlets on your doorstep, scotiabank cinema literally a 2 minute walk, osgoode metro just a 5 minute walk for the metro to Union, Yonge Street, Dundas Square and the Eaton Centre all a 15 minute walk east and central downtown, front street and Scotia Bank arena, Rogers Cebtre, only 20 minutes on foot. Very highly recommend booking this place if you are visiting and want to keep your cost down but get exceptional value for money.

Walked four set of stairs to get to the room which was a windowless box that reminded me more of a backpacking experience a long time ago. To rate this hotel 4 stars is laughable. You could also hear everything that happened in other rooms on that flor and the door didn't close enough so you could see the light from the floor. room service also didn't happen. Very disappointing stay - nobody should chose this hotel. I normally don't write a lot of reviews but this had to be said.

Huge shower, big TV, hooked up my Crave and put The Sopranos on. Easy check in, no key cards to keep track of, just 1 code for all the doors. Staff were friendly. Room was clean, bed was comfy. 2 minute walk to the Horseshoe. Can’t beat that. Lot of stairs though. There is one service elevator, but apparently it is only operational 8am - 8pm. (Sign posted on Elevator, did not ask anyone about it.)
