This was one of the most overrated hotels I’ve visited. The price was exorbitant for an unbelievably small room. The “closet” which was an exterior rack had four coat hangers. Four. That’s roughly $150 per hanger. There is no check in staff. There is no attempt to help with luggage. I was ill one night and attempted to order a Coke only to be told that the robot delivery system they use can only delivery amenities. The entire hotel consistently smelled of whatever food the kitchen was cooking. The worst ventilation system I’ve ever seen. Avoid this hotel at all costs. Literally run away from it.

Shinjuku is lively and hotel groove sits right in the middle of it all. It’s right across the street from the seibu Shinjuku private line trains and a 10min walk to Shinjuku Station. Hotel was very modern, clean, and the city views from the room were breathtaking.

Staff and service are the best. My daughter got sick and requested for a late check out with a reasonable price. Location is convenient with the direct bus to and from airport in front of the hotel

Well laid out room with excellent amenities. Great location, but also really nice being up on the higher floors away from the business. Will absolutely stay again at Hotel Groove.

The overall stay went beyond my expectations. There is so much to do around the surrounding area, including inside the hotel. When returning to Tokyo, Hotel Groove Shinjuku will be our top choice.

Absolutely loved our three night stay in this hotel. Stayed with my family in a corner family room which had a King and two singles. The view from our room was amazing. We all simultaneously said “wow!” as we walked in. Shinjuku is a fun bustling area, with loads of places to eat and shop. The hotel breakfast was really nice, our one and only continental breakfast in our Japan stay. We would definitely stay here again next time we come to Tokyo.

Amazing hotel in Shinjuku close to everything restaurants shops malls cinema etc …amazing staff and clean room … some rooms facing the Shunjuku station and it was noisy (if like to wake up late that’s impossible) Rooms in high floors if you have phobia so this is not goog for you(Please be advised: The elevator is transparent, offering a full view of the outside. Guests with acrophobia may find it uncomfortable)
