First day we arrived early to the hotel, after a long flight we asked if they have early check in, they said “NO”. So we had to walk around until check in time. During our stay, the AC was off, so our room had a portable Fan that doesn’t blow cold air so the room was pretty much always hot. The GYM is not a gym as it only has 2 treadmills and no weights! After walking 20k steps daily why would anyone want to do cardio? Add some weights into that room. When asked if we can ship our luggage to the airport they said that it needs to be done 2 days in advanced which does not make any sense because when we shipped our luggage from the airport to hotel we received them same day! Also what are we supposed to wear for the next 2days without our luggage. Lastly what really was a dealbreaker was that now when we wanted to do late checkout they also said NO! Not once did we feel like our accommodations were met. Don’t recommend this hotel at all. It’s 10minute walk away from the Shinagawa train station but the hotel is located on a hill so you will be walking up and down that steep hill everyday if you use the train.

Up on the top of a hill under going construction to the road so very inconvenient and no warning prior to staying Hotel itself great, big and clean, with a 7/11 on site. Just a pitt about the walk up to it

Nice being very close to the Shimbuya station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I used the Black Cat service to transport my bag from one location to the Grand Price a few days earlier, and when I checked in, they informed me they had my bag and it would be in my room when I went upstairs. The area around the hotel was mostly businesses it seemed, so it was not the best place to walk out of the hotel to go sightseeing, but with the station about a 4-minute walk away, the rest of Tokyo is easily accessed.

The hotel is a little old and getting renovated but we still had a wonderful stay. Staff are very helpful and friendly. And yes of course, the breakfast buffet (both japanese and american) was very good. Also the restaurant inside the hotel (tempura) was very good! I also like about the hotel is there is a 711 inside. Very convenient!!! Book this hotel for family vacation or business trip. You will feel relaxed every morning you wake up.

Loved my stay here! The hotel was very nice had many restaurants in the building there are a total of three hotels on the compound the grand prince hotel, shin grand prince hotel, and Sakura hotel I believe. You have access to all the restaurants in the three buildings. The garden was AMAZING the koi fish in the pond and the flowing stream water was a nice touch. I would highly recommend this hotel. I guess the room I got gave me access to the lounge where there was complimentary breakfast, separated from the other breakfast hall, you don’t get access to both though. If you have one of the more expensive rooms you only get access to the lounge breakfast there are also beverages available free of charge. Feels exactly like an airport lounge.
