Quiet getaway

Everything was nice, a bit rustic with a homey feeling. My only issue was we would have liked better lighting in kitchen/dining area at night to see better while playing games.

Very cute, but smelled like old cigarettes

Overall the cabin is super quant and cute with beautiful views. It was also easy to child proof for our very busy 9 month old if you plan to come with children. However, it smelled strongly of stale and fresh cigarettes. We had to leave the sliding door open to help air it out. When turning on the heat it made the smell worse so we tried to not use the heat but the temperatures got cold at night and with a baby I had to turn it on. Also, an FYI, there is a front/lower part of the cabin that is inaccessible to the renter. There are stairs right inside the door the renter enters that goes down to that part which I did not like. Those doors were locked on their side, but it would’ve made me feel more comfortable knowing I could lock them from my side as well to ensure no one could enter. Not sure if the owner uses that part when they stay there themselves, but I wanted to note that so if you plan to stay you’re aware.

The villa

My husband and our doggie completely enjoyed our stay even though we had rain most of the stay. The people in the area were very friendly as we also, enjoyed our privacy. The property is very clean, and we were able to to have the comforts of home

Secluded getaway

Great place to getaway in a secluded area. Kitchen was well stocked with all supplies for cooking and very clean. Did see and kill wood cockroaches throughout the house. They have ultrasonic pest repellers but must not be doing the job. Did notify MVR and they said they will notify the owners. Looking in the reviews and guestbook the roaches have been an issue for over than a year. We visit the the area to ride the Pine Creek Rails to Trails twice a year and this would be a place to come back but with the roaches…. probably not.

Great Little Get Away Close to Corning

Great secluded little property but still close enough to everything in the area. Great for visiting the Grand Canyon of PA, Corning Museum of Glass and Cherry Springs. Would stay again!

Thanks you for allowing us to use your vacation rental. The house is really lovely. Appliances worked well, lots of TV channel options, strong internet, and comfy bed. As noted the view is amazing. I think my husband noted in the guest book about having more kitchen and bar area lighting. I might suggest new cushions on the porch furniture and bring them inside when not in use. We had not anticipated the steep grade on a dirt road. You might mention that in the listing. We loved the seclusion but the road was not what we expected while towing a boat. Thanks again. We had a great week. The White's

Over looking paradise

It's a beautiful setting secluded in the mountains. We found the cabin to be very comfortable, clean and fully equipped to meet all our needs. The beds were comfy and the view was amazing. You won't regret booking this cabin.
