The space was great for our family of 5 and our dog. Quiet and in a nature setting, the cottage was a great base for our explorations of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.

Comfortable Cabin

Located off the beaten track by a river, this cabin had three queen sized beds making it very comfortable for three senior ladies. It is also about 30 minutes from Sequoia National Park, and a great place to return to after a long day.

Beautiful clean guesthouse

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Space was clean in a beautiful area. Owner was super responsive & available whenever we had a question. Looking forward to staying there again.

The property is in secluded area and so peaceful. That was I want for getaway from busy town. The house is so homey, convenience. See some wildlife such as wild turkeys, deer, many birds. Love..love. Definitely on my favorite list !!

Beautiful Property

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this property. The location is very convenient to local restaurants and to Sequoia National Park. The house has everything you need and also has access to the river which my kids enjoyed.

National park visit

This was just what we were looking for. Something close to the national parks but yet a nice quiet place to stay. Being right outside of the town of three rivers it is close to restaurants and the food store but is off the beaten path so is very quiet and private. We had a great stay.

Great place!

We had a wonderful stay in this home. The hosts were quick to respond and very accommodating. The home is very clean, nicely decorated, close to the very small village in 3 Rivers and to the entrance of the National Park (of course it’s a bit of a drive into the park from the entrance to see the main sighs). I would highly recommend this home

Great cabin in a perfect location.

Stayed while on a trip to explore the Sequoia Forrest. The location was perfect. Nestled away from main roads you feel very secluded. Great place to unwind and enjoy nature. Lots of small wildlife so perfect for nature lovers. The cabin had everything we needed. Was exactly as pictured and very clean. Would definitely stay again.

Weekend with the fur kids

Great get away…really enjoyed the space with our dogs. We finally got to see the Sequoia’s…absolutely AMAZING!! Communication with the property manager was excellent, very responsive in a timely manner. You won’t be disappointed, book your stay!

Awesome place to stay

The property is spacious, beautiful, very close to the river, and close to the entrance of Sequoia National Park. Check in was very easy. Owner communicates really fast. The place has two fireplaces, a full kitchen - equipped with what you need. The location is very relaxing as you can hear the sound of the river while you eat breakfast and while you sleep. Will definitely go back.

Spring Break 2024

My family and I were looking for a nice place to stay for our vacation. Well we found it! Beautiful house and beautiful surroundings. Made our vacation great! Property manager was very polite and communicative. I Would highly recommend if you are looking for a nice place to stay for your vacation.

The property is very close to Sequoia National Park, which is what we wanted. We traveled as a family of five (2 parents, 3 kids), and the space was perfect! The kids loved the loft, and my husband and I had our own room to relax in. Everything we needed was there so we could cook or meals in the morning and evening when we weren't at the National Park. The air conditioners worked well and kept us comfortable when it was the mid 90s outside. The space was very clean and cozy and we enjoyed our time.

Fantastic Experience

Property is excellent. Our stay is very comfortable and the location is great with a little adventure. Host is very accommodating without being intrusive at all. I will not hesitate to recommend Moon River Cottage to family and friends. Overall experience is first rate!
