Travelling with two Golden Retrievers was hassle free at this Hotel. They were welcomed as guests , given treats at the cafe and had their own courtyard off our bedroom. The room was kept clean , with fresh towels every day. We will stay again. It’s so close to everything.

This room was significantly larger than one I had when I stayed here before for what I believe was a similar price. This made a big difference in livability so choose your room carefully. Pet friendly. Thank you. Complimentary breakfast. Thank you again. Parking in Paddington is useful. Thanks very much. This is our pet friendly place to stay in Sydney. Beautiful heritage hotel in prime location in Paddington. The guy on the front desk was one of the most friendly, welcoming and helpful people we've met. Free breakfast was a nice bonus. Would love to stay here again next time we are in Sydney.

Yes it was welcoming to pets - which means you might walk into the lobby to find it dominated by a pair of Newfoundlands, or an undertained schmoodle might take up position at the next table when you're having breakfast. In other words, great for pet owners, not so much for everybody else. I had a tiny room with no desk to speak of - probably got what I'd paid for, but wish I'd known. Cleanliness was OK, but by the time I left the back stairs were in dire need of a sweep. Still the staff were friendly and efficient, the breakfast (though limited) was good value, and the hotel is charming and well located.
