Disgusting and poorly maintained. After the 1st room was clearly not cleaned at all, the second room was not made up and the 3rd room was the best of the bunch. While the staff were helpful, the rooms are very sparse and far from in good condition. The bathrooms need a serious clean and the entire apartment complex needs some serious renovations. For the prices charged, these apartments need to be much better. These photos are from the 3rd room...
We paid a little more for an apartment in Parramatta near Westmead Children’s Hospital. The first impression of the building was within expectations, but as soon as we entered the room it smelled stale, dirty and of old cigarettes. The apartment was very sparsely furnished. The blinds in the lounge were worn and dirty. Then we found the torn and dirty worn blinds in the bedroom. Makeup and filth covered the doors and the bathroom was dirty. A broken chair decorated the balcony. In the morning we discovered the clogged dirty iron and unfitting ironing board cover. The photos provide an idea. We will not be staying again.
The apartment complex is within walking distance of the train station, a 30 minute ride from Sydney, which is handy. The apartments are individually owned, so when you book you don't really have a good idea of what you're going to get; as some apartments will be better cared for than others. The bathroom we had, was pretty unsatisfactory. It wasn't particularly clean and the shower was in need of fixing or replacing. The lifts were also very temperamental, which for such a tall building is quite a big issue.
Bed smelt like old teabag; drapes were frayed and curled and didn't keep out light; some lights didn't work; tiles cracked in bathroom; balcony had cigarette ash all over tiles; shower was cold on first morning - boiling the next.
Not only is it hard to find as it is not well signed, the rooms are rundown and in need of a makeover. The lounge is collapsing and the toilet ran all night. The Carpark is not marked and you must park in numbered parks that don't run in sequence and are extremely small. It is however convenient to the railway as it is only a couple of hundred yards away. There is a pub at the corner.
Not my stay just visited a friend staying there - they ended up checking out due to the - STAINED SHEETS - FILTH UNDER THE BED - DEBRIS LEFT AFTER PREVIOUS OCCUPANT Definitely agree with OH DEAR - the furniture is Old and tired - Peeling Bed head - the price of the unit way over the odds - smell coming out of both bathrooms was unpleasant - it is such a shame because location is perfect
We stayed here overnight a week ago to go see the Foo Fighter concert at Olympic Park. The room was quite comfortable and had everything we needed, it was clean and the air conditioning was quiet and worked well. The location is superb - close to buses and trains and the big Westfield shopping centre just around the corner. Under ground carparking available and indoor pool. Very good value for money and we found the staff very friendly and helpful. Would have no issue staying here again.
The location was great, within a walking distance to train station and Westfield. The only thing is there was no curtains, only thin white roller blinds, so as soon as the sun is up the apartment is full of light and we cannot sleep in. I asked the receptionist about curtains and she said each apartment has a different owner, so no consistent police across the whole building.
Stayed one night after a Big Bash game. Checkin was easy and the lady nice. Room was bland, old, tired and not dirty as such maybe more stained! Room needs some serious love, everything is old and stained. Bed was comfy enough and the bathroom is refurbished just tired. Tables stained and peeling. Worse thing was the bed head behind the single beds. Gross! Fake black leather was peeling off and leaving deposits on the kids pillow. Won’t be back.
I was assigned multiple apartment as one single apartment was not available for the entire duration. Each apartment had a different look and feel and furniture type. One apartment was great and one was very bad. Quite inconsistent. AC was not effective
