The location was great, within a walking distance to train station and Westfield. The only thing is there was no curtains, only thin white roller blinds, so as soon as the sun is up the apartment is full of light and we cannot sleep in. I asked the receptionist about curtains and she said each apartment has a different owner, so no consistent police across the whole building.
Stayed one night after a Big Bash game. Checkin was easy and the lady nice. Room was bland, old, tired and not dirty as such maybe more stained! Room needs some serious love, everything is old and stained. Bed was comfy enough and the bathroom is refurbished just tired. Tables stained and peeling. Worse thing was the bed head behind the single beds. Gross! Fake black leather was peeling off and leaving deposits on the kids pillow. Won’t be back.
I was assigned multiple apartment as one single apartment was not available for the entire duration. Each apartment had a different look and feel and furniture type. One apartment was great and one was very bad. Quite inconsistent. AC was not effective
Stayed here for 1 night with my wife. I had stayed here before for work a while ago. Smoking policy has changed. You can’t smoke on the balcony anymore so avoid if you do smoke. Was clean enough and had everything else there. Car parking was $15 a night. Our apartment overlooked the bus parking area. There is a sign for them to turn the busses off when parked but they don’t so don’t expect it to be quiet. Clearance in the car park is 2.1m so if you have a large 4x4 you will struggle especially when you need to park in the very tight spaces down the bottom. So good for an overnighter but don’t expect a holiday destination.
First impression was the busted broken door lock that was intent on not letting me in until i discovered the handle is only decoration and serves no function. Once in it has the gleaming white single space apartment that is common these days and it looked to have all the bells and whistles, kitchenette, laundry, tv/fox, nice bathroom, balcony bed was well made up and air conditioning. Then you spend time in the room to find the bed is really bad and way past its used by date and has women's blood stains on the mattress protector. The small tv is tucked neatly in the nook at one end of the room and a long way from the bed at the other end with only hard plastic chairs to sit on and watch the tv. There are no furnishings for the balcony so enjoying the view into the next building was not an option. The general state of the room required a lot of work with skirting boards damaged and hanging loose, dishwasher missing a handle, the clothes dryer throwing the safety switch when used and the washing machine sounds like a Boeing 737 plane in your bedroom. The rubbish bin still contained fast food rubbish from the previous guests. Little bit of a yuk factor to this unit. Its saving grace is its location to the train station at the end of the street and the 900 Parramatta circle bus that was free to get around the area in. Parking your car on site @ $15 per day was a bit steep and seemed like a bit of a cash grab. The complete lack of wi-fi is disappointing and something even basic stays offer. Not the worst i stayed at but certainly in the bottom half. It would only take a comfy couch, a couple of balcony chairs and clean bedding and rubbish bin for the rest to be insignificant but altogether it makes it very ordinary.
Not happy. It would have been nice to have been informed that there was a construction zone right next door and that it was noisy AF at 6:30am on a Saturday morning. Apartment is sparsely furnished. One dining chair is broken. Blinds offer no block out of sun and little privacy. Yes it is cheapish accomodation but then you pay extra for parking, extra for wifi. Never again.
Pictures on websites are false advertising! Appt very dirty and unclean, stains on walls and blinds everywhere, sticky tape holding one window in the bedroom, mould in bathroom, kitchen sink and toilet roll holder broken, floorboards dont join. This has got to be one of the worst places ive ever stayed at!!!!
I have never ever walked out of somewhere however there is a first time for everything. The apartment was filthy, very basic and old furniture. It stunk of cigarette smoke and old curry. We had paid extra for 2 single beds however there was only one king bed. The only positive was that the staff member tried to help resolve the issues but it did not get any better so we ask d for a refund and went elsewhere
I stayed here for 5 nights First impression was fantastic the apartment was fairly clean and not as bad as some other reviewers have mentioned. However better attention is required the lack of kitchen items and a working exhaust fan wasn't great the dishwasher leaked and there were only 2 plates and 2 of everything else provided and the saucepans etc were in the same cupboard as the bin. The washing machine/dryer were great asset to have. However the lounge and under furniture wasn't cleaned upon check out looking to make sure nothing rolled under the bed to find a used condom. The Neighbours cooking wasn't very nice but it didn't drift into our apartment. The sheets were clean but the blanket and doona seriously needed a good boil wash or replacement. The bedroom carpet was stained and needed a good clean or replacement.
Apartments are close to Parramatta train/bus station aswell as Westfield shops, approx 5 minute walk. Apartment needs updating - paint, air conditioners, shower screens. Place was reasonably clean but because needing updating seemed dirty. Otherwise great stay.
