Hermosa cabaña en el agua de la prístina bahía del oeste

100 pies de playa privada en un barrio tranquilo y exclusivo. Despierta con espectaculares amaneceres. Mire hacia Power Island (una vez propiedad de Henry Ford). Por la noche, mira hacia el agua para ver las luces de Traverse City en la distancia.

La cabaña está a 6 millas al sur de Suttons Bay y 8 millas al norte de Traverse City. Esta cabaña se encuentra en una pequeña calle lateral lejos de cualquier carretera principal. The hosts were excellent and ensured we had everything we needed. The property is everything it said it would. We loved our stay. Being on the water was so relaxing with spectacular sunrises. The location was ideal to get to where we needed to be. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Only wish we could have been there a few weeks later to see the leaves change!

We had a great time at this beautiful place. The view is unbeatable! We enjoyed lots of relaxing on the deck with the waves lapping and the skies constantly changing. We had everything we needed and were close to any places we wanted to explore. We will be back!

Enjoyed our stay. Property was neat and well furnished. Nice location with lovely lake views. Very relaxing which was just what we were looking for. Duane was an excellent host and the only thing that could have been better was the weather. Oh well, can't have everything. On our list for revisit.

Lovely place and location.

The cottage was nicely furnished, very clean, and comfortable. The view from the living room of the lake is lovely. It is just a short drive into Sutton Bay's, which is a charming little town. I would certainly stay here again.

Amazing stay. Amazing place

Vacation rentals allow for an experience from time to time and this place certainly fit the bill. We probably spent more time just lounging around the property and enjoying the AMAZING views than any stay in recent memory. We’ll be back for sure!

It’s all about the views!

Amazing views! Morning sun, with glorious sunrises over the West Bay. Comfortable, clean, great location. Bring your own towels and sheets required. May not be suitable to those with sensitive respiratory issues, musty odor noticeable, especially when windows are closed.

Perfection!

This was the perfect location to explore the Leelanau peninsula and surrounding areas. And the house itself was the perfect place to relax and unwind in front of picture-perfect views of the Grand Tranverse Bay. We definitely hope to return!

Perfect Guesthouse!

My husband and I could NOT have enjoyed our stay more! Duane and Vicki were amazing hosts and the location and amenities were spectacular! It was exactly the view we were hoping for and so much more! The deck was perfect for relaxing and the cottage had everything we needed to be comfortable and relaxed. Can’t wait to go back.

Waterfront At Its Best

This property is super clean and has a gorgeous view of the bay. Duane and Vicki are very friendly and make sure you have all you need. Enjoy the surrounding area and all it has to offer. Highly recommend!

Beautiful View

The view right outside the sliding glass doors is like being in Florida (no sand, no sharks). The water is beautiful and the house is immaculate! Can't say enough good things; nice owners, perfect weather. A great week!

Cute, Clean, Relaxing Trip!

Had a wonderful stay at the lakefront cabin a couple of months ago. Everything we needed was available, we even walked in to a variety of notes & recommendations left by the owners. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was perfect for the meals we cooked there. The location and price cannot be beat. I would recommend this place for any type of trip! I actually ended up saying 'yes' to marrying the man of my dreams on my trip in Traverse, so this cottage will always hold a special place in my heart :)

Wonderful Week on the West Bay

My Wife and I had a wonderful week at Duane and Vicki’s place. To start with, the location and views were fantastic with it sitting right on the water of the West Bay. We spent a lot of time sitting on the deck taking in the views. The guest house was very comfortable and stocked with all the needed basics. Duane and Vicki were very gracious hosts, and you can tell they care very much about their guest’s experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Great location, beautiful property

Stayed here with my family including our children who are 4 and 1, we had a fabulous time. The beach area is great, just enough beach to play in the sand for the kids. Water shoes are a must. The lake house is clean and cozy with an amazing view. The owner was great and super accommodating. He even went so far as purchasing a new grill when the old one wouldn’t work. We would definitely stay again.
