Service was amazing to make for a very special Mother’s Day stay

This is a cute hotel with apartment like settings . I o my gave 3 stars because A. Staff was curt B. They held a 250$ deposit , when we went upstairs that evening we found the door to the bathroom had a large dent as if someone punched it , made me wonder if they already knew it and ola we on charging us for the damage so we reported it . C. They did T give me my license back and I didn’t realize it til I needed it at the bank T home 2.5 hours away. They never tried to contact me , or inform me at the hotel ! When I called , they did have it and told me I’d have to pay for its return ! When clearly they could have contacted me immediately upon our stay for two nights . I told them they were the ones who didn’t return it to me and you’re telling me I have to pay the 50 cent stamp to get it back? Then she said “oh” okay we’ll mIl it . Are you kidding me with that attitude I should have insisted for N overnight mailing . Terrible service and ridiculous deposit . I wonder how many people they’ve charged for that door and never replaced it .

Ok, don’t get me wrong, the hotel itself is cool. Not gross how they nickel and dime you. Breakfast not included. The parking garage is fine, but used for conventions etc. fine. But the gate was open the whole time because it was broken. No one coming in or it had to pay for parking there the two days we were there. But hotel guests did. I understand the convenience is great but part of the reason we stayed there was the secure parking. Which wasn’t. Then to have to pay as a hotel guest, but no one else has to?! All the fixings in the room for your morning coffee. Cups, creamer, coffee pods, stir sticks….. but no coffee makers?!! Garbage cans in the room with no bags. Gross. Cool vibe but totally missed the mark on customer service in the amenities and follow through
