Our family had a great stay. M gamer teenage son said the wifi was perfect. The location and community was perfect for a relaxing family vacation.

Kitchen vent for air and exhaust leaked on the stove and counter everyday. Floors were turning everyone’s socks and feet black.Other then that it was fine.

Backyard miss

This was a very nice home and modern… But it is essentially three stories and none of the back doors have access to the backyard. So we rented this house because we have dogs and needed the backyard, however, we had to go down all the flights of stairs and walk around the house to get to the yard… To me that should be explained to anyone wanting to rent this house. So if you have a dog it will not have access to the backyard unless you go down two flights of steps. Just not very convenient use of the space.

We were not happy with the Surfside rental Co. that is in charge of Amber Waves. We specifically chose this house because of the fire pit and hot tub for the cooler weather. As soon as we checked in, we checked both and there was not a propane tank for the fire pit. I called Surfside Rental Co. and they said they would put a work order in for it. I heard nothing. The following day, Thanksgiving I called again and they told me a maintenance person would either call me or they would to give me an update on the propane tank. Again nothing. The third day I called again and the lady was very nice and said she would relay everything to the director. Again, I didn’t hear back. We returned home not hearing from them at all. Very upset!!! I also don’t like this house because there are no stairs in the back to access the backyard. The top bedroom off kitchen and bathroom doesn’t get warm. It’s cooler than the rest of the house and it was chilly the time we were there. It’s a newer house somewhat modern and close to the beach.
