Room smelled of cigarettes felt misled with the Hawthorne suite’s name ranks as one of the worst stays I’ve had. Just run down and not worth the price

Had to move from first room due to toilet shaking and making loud noises, then again for stopped up sink, then again. No microwave was promised the guy said--and could not even let me rent one when I know the first room had one. I had to walk to the office he said to cook. .It could not get any worse----floor dirty...and other items left from previous renters were found in the room by the kids. (milk bottle and underwear) I know it is a family -mom & pop place but I feel they could do better. The place is only good for a fast nap and get up and go-- with dirty feet. For the price there is much better up the road. Also had to witness a disabled couple get kicked out, which broke our heart, but hopefully they found a better option with a kinder soul to help.

Do not stay here.

Awful time here. Giant hole in the wall. The mirror is extremely dirty. It is very clear that the room was not cleaned prior to my arrival. Within ten minutes of laying on the bed, I was breaking out in hives and the front desk told me I must just be allergic to the detergent. They showed me another room and it smelled awful. They would not offer a discount or fix the issues. Only told me I'm free to get a refund and leave. Upon review of this place, many reviews mention bed bugs. I did not personally see any in this room, however I would not have been surprised to find them due to the disrepair.

I thought I found a nice spot to stay when I travel from the city to family functions that live in St Charles most events end at late night an that drive is long. I was sadden the place driving up really nice well lighted. But so dirty on the inside from the ceiling to the rugs... Like no reason rooms are small comfy perfect looking CLEAN THEM SPIDER WEBS went to sleep the dresser was filled with spider Beatle bugs idk but I lost my medicine over night bag with my belongings black event dress had to leave bugs crawling all over my personal belongings an the bugs was fierce. I took pictures... Brown frozen ice in the freezer dead bed bugs by the trash can smashed on the wall lint balls an burnt holes in top covers. The mattress an sheets seemed good. But that dresser needs to be burnt not exterminated but burnt torched... Want a refund room 401 I have video an pictures

Absolutely the worst hotel i have ever been too. Waited over 10 minutes just to get someont to check us in. Then were given a dirty room. The second room we were given was just as bad. We ended up leaving because the amount of noise, screaming, door slamming , uncomfortable bed and traffic was absolutely ridiculous

The room was clean but I asked for a smoking room and it said non smoking on the door. No ash tray in the room. The vanity lights did not work so the room was dark but the place was quiet and the bed would have bén comfortable with a few more pillows.

Maid was very rude. Many rooms not clean. Was asked if I was waiting for room to be cleaned then told you’ll have to wait. I was first of three people waiting for room to be cleaned in my building. And last room to be cleaned. Check in at 3 room finally cleaned at 4:30
