THIS IS NOT A TRADITIONAL HOTEL. It is more of a transient living place. Great for those who need it but not for regular travelers. The front desk is only open during the day and not until 9 a.m.. Although they claim to have Express Check In and Check Out, they make YOU PUT UP A $100 CASH DEPOSIT. This was not disclosed clearly in the Rules or Requirements. I received a phone call shortly before checking in. The only way to get this cash deposit back is to keep the little piece of paper receipt and wait for the front desk to be open. I had an appointment at 9 so I had to choose between being late or getting the $100 deposit back. They also do not give Choice Points even though they are listed as a Choice Hotel. Neither Orbitz, nor Choice should be listing this as a hotel available for regular travelers without huge disclosures. Avoid this place unless you need transient living arrangements.

The worst bed l have ever seen and slept in. No lamps, one night stand. It took forever to check in, too many papers to sign and $150 incidentals. This is a one and done experience.

Really clean I extended my stay. Only problem is our toilet never got fixed from the noice it has been making for a week .

The check in process was uninviting. The clerk was not friendly at all. The only thing she said to us was "I need a picture id". No thank you. No enjoy your stay nothing. The room was just mediocre. No hair dryer. And WiFi was not free. We left the hotel for a dinner and returned about 11:15pm. The doors to the hotel were unlocked and the check in desk was closed up with a security partition. Hotel doors unlocked and desk secured? When we left the next morning at 7:30, the desk was still closed up. We will never stay at, nor recommend this hotel. Spend a few extra dollars and stay elsewhere.

The hotel building is not bad, but the beds are hard, you barely get two pillows for a twin size bed, no shampoo, one small bar of soap, and the tv control does not even work well. There were cockroaches in the Kitchen area every night, even though there was no food lying around. the parking lot was full of contractor vehicles all day and night. The room and the whole floor really smelled bad. The walls are very thin and you can hear all of the noise from neighboring rooms.

This is more of a monthly-rental place, than a hotel for one night. Multiple people hanging around outside smoking, when I arrived at 10:30 p.m....very unnerving. Locked entrance into main hotel. Air Conditioning in room would turn on the compressor, but there was no fan to push the AC. Requested another room. The clerk gave me keys to a room, upon which entering I immediately noticed food, bags, computer, etc. from another guest. Upon exiting, the clerk was outside smoking with friends, and she didn't offer to help me in regards to the room. I left the keys on the counter and departed to find another hotel. When I arrived the next morning to speak with a manager, there were multiple people hanging around cars smoking/drinking/etc.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Price was affordable. Overall, I had no complaints aND would definitely recommend Value Place to friends and family!

Nothing fancy. Clean room, comfortable bed. Just what I needed for attending a meeting. Glad they had laundry facilities- they were needed.

Daniel,I’m sorry that you did not enjoy your short stay with us. We are an extended stay hotel and all of our rules, procedures and check-in policies are described on our booking page to which you booked, including the 100 cash deposit. Our front desk is open seven days a week from 9 am to 10 pm, as was disclosed. We were closed on Christmas Day to allow our staff to celebrate the holiday. However, during the times when the office is closed, including on Christmas Day, there is someone available at all times to assist guests. As for the deposit, you are not required to keep the receipt; we keep track of all deposits we take. Our desk opens at 9am. On the day of your check out, you called our desk at 8:50. In our policies, the on-call policy is outlined and it states that the on-call person has a certain amount of time- 25 minutes- to tend to after-hours guest calls. Because you called at 8:50, your request was handled in a timely manner. We are a Choice Hotels property however because we are an extended stay, we do not participate in the Choice Rewards program; this policy is listed on our website. One more thing- we are an extended stay hotel, not a transient style hotel. Short term stay hotels are considered transient style hotels.
