A perfect place to relax! This farmhouse was spotless and had everything we needed for a long, comfortable weekend. Lots of seating, comfy beds and bedding, fluffy towels and peaceful surroundings. We loved it here! The last time we were here, we stayed in their barn vrbo, which was also a great place!

Wonderful!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this property! Everything was very clean & it was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Lots of space inside for the four of us. It was very cold outside but we ventured out a couple of times to take pics by the pond. Can't wait to return when the weather is warmer so that we can enjoy the front porch and the backyard patio. The kitchen had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving dinner and was so spacious! Thank you for a wonderful stay, Holly! enjoy the front porch & the backyard patio.

Family trip

Got to spend a couple of days just relaxing and visiting with my family. The property is beautiful with flowers and landscaping. It is also a wedding venue, which we didn’t realize until we got there. We just happened to want time during the week, when it was available. Lovely kitchen and areas, inside and out, to relax.

New Virginia Gem

This is a beautifully restored farmhouse with spectacular landscaped grounds associated with an events venue behind it. It was located near to our destination at New Virginia. The house was spotless and well appointed for cooking and relaxing. Our hostess Holly was very helpful and kind in every way. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay although were not able to enjoy the property too much as we went to a concert in Ames and got home late and left fairly early. In hindsight we should have booked the second night there.

Awesome home for a large family or group

This property was better than represented....it exceeded all of our expectations. There were extra provisions in the kitchen, the decor was amazing and it felt like a home away from home. We would highly recommend and we will definitely stay here again when in the area!!

Close to family - GREAT farm house stay

We really enjoyed our stay very much. Holly was quick with replying to questions and we felt the stay was very private. The location was perfect for us. The farmhouse was super comfortable and really clean and well maintained. Five stars

Awesome Space!!

We absolutely loved the house for our brief visit to the area. The room setups and amenities were great for our family and having two full bathrooms was a must with 3 kids and 3 adults. It was also extra special that the property was still decorated with lights for Christmas. The kids thought it was great and loved the swings right outside the living room. The house rules and checkout list was super brief and very manageable as we had an early morning departure. Even bigger bonus was that the house was within walking distance of our family who lived nearby. We will be back again and already recommending it to other family who are planning visits in the future. Thank you for a great property!

Beautiful Farmhouse and property

This beautiful property features a wonderful main house, a guest house and several out buildings for events. The main house is very clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. This is also a fantastic venue for weddings, anniversaries or family reunions. Check out Bailey Farms Barn & Venue on the internet. We are looking forward to coming back here with friends and family. Holly is a gracious hostess who keeps the house well stocked and the entire property in great shape.
