Room was spotless, free coffee in the lobby really tasted good and was an amazing add-on to the stay. Front staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel is walkable distance to downtown in close vicinity of restaurants and bakeries. Breakfast coupons at Olsen bakery was huge hit. Loved our stay!

Staff was courteous and they had coffee and cold brew available in the lobby. The location has a lounge for small snacks but not a full restaurant. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.

We arrived a couple of hours before the scheduled check-in time, but the front desk staff informed us that early check-in was not possible due to a lack of available rooms. She promised to text us once a room became available. We went sightseeing in the town, but we never received a text notifying us that the room was ready. When we returned about 40 minutes past the check-in time, the check-in process took a long time. The service was very slow. Additionally, the handwashing sink was not well designed, as the faucet turned counterclockwise. The shower door opens incorrectly, allowing water to leak out if you don't close it while the water is running. The towels also appeared to be dingy and no longer white. Overall, it was not a good place to stay.

We really enjoyed our family stay. Rooms were nicely updated, staff was extremely friendly especially the bartender, who provided many tips for the area. It's a short walk to pretty much anywhere in the village. Would highly recommend

I stay at The Vinland every time I go to Solvang. They are nice rooms. The staff are great. And it is easy to get to the places I enjoy eating. I have no plans to stay at any other hotel

The hotel is in a great location, the lobby and bar area are super cute. The room was spacious with a cute little balcony. Unfortunately, I just could not overlook the lack of cleanliness. Upon arrival there was a dirty towel in our bathroom sink. We then found popcorn on the floor next to one of the beds. The patio chairs and tables were too dirty to sit on without cleaning (stickiness on the table). There was some sort of white smear on the fridge and a couple long hairs stuck to the bathroom wall. Maybe we just checked in on someone’s bad day but we won’t be revisiting.

This was a lovely property! Welcoming staff, updated common areas, pool/jacuzzi, and rooms are well appointed with nice art work and modern decor. Location could not be better - walking distance to shops & restaurants. This is not a Ritz Carlton, but it's 5 star for service and value. We'll be back!
